Been going to Surfridge for about ten years and always had great service and fantastic quality food. Last night the entree and appetizer came at once, no issue. The chicken wings were piping hot and delicious but their fantastic pizza came out cold and not properly cut, that was a first. Our server was busy on the other side and she came around about 20 minutes latter and I told her that the wings were great but their fantastic pizza was cold and not cut properly. She looked, was kind and all she can say was that they were training a new person to serve and probably just waited for the wings to come out and serve them both at the same time. That was it, she turned around and went to the kitchen. Also our wine and beer was empty for awhile and didn't even ask if we wanted more. She came back latter and asked if we wanted something else and at that point I just said check. Now we have come to always enjoy the food and drinks here for years, I would have professionally expected a sorry and can we remake the pizza for you....nothing. I think over the last several decades of reviews this is the second one I wrote to an establishment that was negative. I guess I put it to a rarity at Surfridge to have happen

Surfridge Brewing Company is "THE BEST". The brewpub is located in an old industrial facility that has a ton of charm. The food and brew is top notch. They have regular specials ( which change with the seasons ) which are consistently outstanding. The Management team and Waitstaff are super friendly and engaging. We love coming here !!!! I highly recommend checking them out.

Surfridge is a great spot! As fantastic as all their house-brewed drafts and handcrafted cocktails/mocktails are, we actually go primarily for the food. Everything on their menu is delicious, from local raw oysters to shareables to their fabulous wood-fired pizzas. And you can't beat the prices. Highly recommend this family-friendly brewpub!

Great place to eat before Essex Steam Train. Accommodating servers (we had many children). Good food/beer. We also were able to park at the brewery and leave our car there while taking the train. It was easy to get out following the train. Highly recommend!

Walked over to surfridge after our North Pole express ride today. They do not take reservations this time of year. We had a group of 16, which became a group of 20. They were very accommodating in getting us set up. We had 10 adults and 10 children 8yo and under- who’d just been given cookies and hot cocoa, so we were a fairly chaotic group. The staff were kind and patient. The food was excellent which led to us ordering a few additional rounds of food for the kids- which they ensured came out quickly and smoothly. Cookies with the kids meals are a nice touch! Everyone enjoyed the beer. Would love to come back in warmer weather and take advantage of the outside space as well.
