I can’t say enough good things about Matthews Catering for my wedding! From start to finish, they were truly amazing. They brought my vision to life in the most delicious way possible. We hired Matthew’s catering for a backyard wedding reception. Penny was very helpful and offered advice and information was well as recommendations for various things necessary to host a party. They worked within our budget and were flexible with the menu. The food was FANTASTIC and made the occasion even more special. Matt and his wonderful catering team did an outstanding job for our wedding on June 1 at the Gwyn Careg Inn! The food was amazing, the staff were on top of everything, and the planning process was made so easy for us. We had a number of food allergies on our guest list and the groom has celiac disease. Matt and his team were more than happy to accommodate all of these dietary restrictions so that we didn’t have to stress about it the day of. The staff the day of were so attentive and made sure we (the bride and groom) got to have a plate of appetizers during the hustle and bustle of cocktail hour. The pickle bar was a great unique addition and every aspect of our menu was perfection! This was honestly the best wedding food we have ever had - from appetizers to entrees to dessert and the late night snack, our guests were raving about the food!

I have nothing but great things to say about Matthew and his team. We are due to get married in the fall of 2024 and since we booked them in Jan of 2023, they have been nothing but over the top. Beyond helpful. Food is amazing. No question goes unanswered. If you have the chance to work with them I highly recommend that you do.

I've been traveling to Connecticut for work for over a decade. The work location always has Matthew's Catering provide breakfast and lunch - It's amazing every time! It's always an impressive spread. The menu is diverse which keeps it interesting. You can tell that these folks care about the food that they provide.
