Heard staff make a racist comment towards community patrons and I quickly addressed it. Almost immediately there were about 9 local white boiled old hot dogs eating patrons starting defense of how long blackies has been around and how they serve everyone. Damn racist establishment. Mind you I was white my white boyfriend who said himself it's inherited racism from past family. The food was literally disgusting. The relish is so disgusting. The hot dog is like slime. Please close this soul kitchen quality food establishment down.

We have been going to Blackies for years. The hot dogs are exceptional and when paired with their relish and mustard a special experience. Now that we live in Rhode Island I still drive to Blackies whenever I can. I love the casual ordering and atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next trip there.

Burgers were really good. Even better when you add the special relish to them. Got a chocolate shake and that was extremely good as well. Hot dogs are one of the best around. Highly recommend. Just be aware they are cash only and they have no fries. They do have an atm inside though.

Great hot dogs and burgers. But I especially love the chocolate shakes. It's dangerous for me to drive by there. I highly recommend. And don't miss out on the relish. Yes, it's got some heat, but it's not bad. And a chocolate shake will help mellow it out.
