The ambience is 1970's brown, the food is overpriced and basic. The vegetables were raw, especially the carrots and my steak was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare and I received it well done. For $65 each, they couldn't even cook our steaks correctly. (Only one was cooked as requested) Our server was great up until the end of our meal, we sat waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes. I finally had to get up and pay at the register. I could have spent half of our bill ($370) at Texas Roadhouse and had a much better steak at less than half the price. We will never go back and we will never recommend Butcher Brothers. Sorry Dad, for a terrible Father's Day dinner. š PS - As I read through the other reviews after I posted mine, I noticed there are no responses from the owners. The steak and lamb were both some of the best we have ever had, cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! The lava cake for dessert was also superb. The service was amazing and perfectly attentive, from both our server and the support staff. Very nice place, only complaint would be we didnāt love the vegetables served with our dinners but they were still not bad! Will definitely be back and be recommending to others.

We just ate here for the first time and already can't wait to come back. Our server Edwin provided excellent service, he was friendly, attentive and quick to answer any of our questions. The food was phenomenal I absolutely recommend the French onion soup and tuna tar tar for appetizers. The steaks were great as well. We will absolutely be back!

The service was very good. Staff was very attentive. The sides were very good. Surprisingly, the steak was a little over requested temperature. While flavorful, it was not as tender as I believe it should have been.

We've been here a few times and the food and drinks have always been great. Portions are good-sized. We typically sit in the bar area which is fairly spacious and have always received good service in there. There is also sometimes live music which is nice. It's also a little calmer than their neighbor down the street so if you're looking for more of that vibe this is a good option.

My gf really liked the salad. It was a cold salad but had hot mushrooms on it. The creamed spinach was decent. Truffle fries were meh and the steak was ok but lacked flavor. They actually undercooked the steak and it had less flavor after they took it back and cooked it properly. They had the doors open so there were some flies in the dining room area. Overall, it was ok but I donāt think Iād ever go out of my way again to go back but if I was in Cheshire for something, maybe Iād consider it.

I think we hit a bad night, service was very very slow. We were there for almost 3 hours. The restaurant itself is very old and outdated looking, lots of tables shoved in the small room we were in, it was very loud. The bar area looked like the nicest area to dine in. I don't think I would go again but glad we tried it once!

Fantastic dinner! The lamb and rib eye were cooked to perfection! They were seasoned very well. Our waiter was very experienced and attentive. The truffle mac and cheese was crispy and gooey. We were very happy with the overall experience. The tablets for menus were a nice touch. We will definitely be back.
