I have been coming to chesire coffee for a couple years now. My favorite thing has always been the atmosphere. Until recently, the shop has always been a cozy, warm and quaint little coffee shop. As of 3/19/2024, the shop seems to be doing some sort of renovation and I'm afraid it seems to be going the way of every other "modern" competing coffee shop. The work is not complete so I'm not 100% sure of what the finished product will be, however, the cozy couches, chairs, corky pictures and rugs are all gone.This coffee shop in a small way, without sounding too cheesy, is a perfect representation of a small New England coffee shop. It would be a shame if it tries to change all of that, all in the name of a "refreshing look". Not every new look needs to be different shades of grey with minimalist design features.

Definitely not for a younger crowd. A lot of older customers, and the vibe of the inside is not great.Nice baristas and the chicken chibatta was good. The outside seating is nice.Loaf was stale and lacked flavor, smores bar was okay, French toast latte tasted watery, Pecan Caramel Pie latte was not good and the pecan was definitely too much in comparison to the amount of caramel.

If you run out of cold brew and serve people ice coffee, charge them for ice coffee not cold brew.
Good coffee but terrible customer service, my bagel was done and nobody told me it was sitting in the back near the toaster oven for minutes before I had to say something and then they gave it to me. The manager who was there also was not welcoming, that’s the best way I can put it. No smile no greeting and the way she talks to customers is kind of snappy

Decent coffee store. We had tried their seasonal Spring Coffee and cinnamon chai latte which was good though cinnamon chai lattes was slightly more sweet. They have limited food options and when we reached some of their breakfast options were sold out. They have outdoor and indoor seating.Vegetarian options: They have baked items.Parking: They have limited 15-20 parking space.
