Onion soup overly salty, tasted like a salt block. Eggplant fries overcooked and tasteless. Black Forest sandwich no longer on the menu. Disappointed.
Love this place! Chef is excellent and service is warm and friendly

I've been there once before and the food was pretty bad, the bar is just old and it looks like they haven't invested anything to make it look somewhat decent, so I thought hey, maybe the food was bad only that one time, I decided to give it another chance, so I ordered food there again and no change, the food was horrible, overpriced, low portions and bad, can't complain about the bartender.
Would I order food from there again? Never, no wonder that place is just for drinks.

Felt like I was in an episode of Bar Rescue. This place needs a lot of help! I was with a party of 3. None of us could eat our dinners they were that inedible. We were embarrassed for the chef and server. Clearly the food was not fresh. Tiny gnats and flies all around us. I shudder to think what the kitchen looks like. Praying we don’t get food poisoning.
To top it off, my friend ordered a pasta where it said please pick sausage or chicken. When the bill came she was charged $6 for probably microwaved chicken and when questioning the charge was shown in the tiniest of print about the additional charge on the menu.
Note to owner: think about changing the tv channel.

We were in the mood for pasta, but didn’t want to go out to eat (sick child). So, the Victorian House staff was so kind to let us order just sauce and of course—Nonna’s Meatballs to go with it. Oh. My. Goodness…the sauce is DELICIOUS and the meatballs melt in your mouth. 🍝 Thank you for the fantastic dinner, Victorian House!
Food was excellent but don't use the bathroom, disgusting.

I really enjoyed my experience here today. This establishment has a great bar with TV’s if you’re looking for a filling station. I had lunch on the patio and Nicole was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. They have new menus and new chefs; the chef that made the meals came out and asked how everything was. The food was really good. 10/10 five stars! We will be back!

We walked in with 5 people and had to wait to get seated. When we were escorted to our table, the restaurant was empty except 2 elderly ladies sitting in a corner. We ordered a drink, took quite awhile, waitress apologized. Took our food order, Took an extremely long time, while serving a couple plates, waitress informed us they didn't have one of the kid's meals and she forgot to put in one of the adults meals. When my meal came it had fried chicken instead of grilled chicken like I asked for. Waitress appeared annoyed when I pointed it out. This establishment definitely caters to the local bar scene and gave our party of 5 the impression that we were intruding on there normal routine!

This was my first time here and I mad reservations as I didn't know what to expect on a Saturday night. The dining room was completely empty so we ate in the bar which was cozy and filled with regularsThe food was good but I was disappointed that I was previewed the menu online and 2 of the items I had my heart set on were no longer being served. They need to update the menu!

The Victorian House has more of a dive-bar atmosphere than local restaurant. It’s not a very professional establishment and it’s usually filled with “regulars” who take over the space. The food isn’t terrible but it’s also not great. We ordered the buffalo wings and French onion soup to start. The Buffalo wings were good. They were crispy but not dry. the French onion soup was made with chicken broth which isn’t my preference (French onion soup is normally made with beef broth). The soup also didn’t have many onions and the bread was extremely soggy since it probably wasn’t toasted. The French onion soup also did not come out until after our entrees were delivered. The waitress said she would make up for it by removing the soup from the bill, but then never did.About the entrees and our server… my fiancé ordered the shrimp wrap which was very mediocre, and I ordered the cheeseburger club. However, the waitress put the order in as the cheeseburger sliders. I let her know of the mistake and she sent it back. Our server wasn’t very attentive and seemed to disappear for periods of time. The restaurant wasn’t busy. The chef was nice enough to deliver the cheeseburger club to me and apologized for the inconvenience. It tasted pretty good. The fries aren’t very good. They’re really thin so they had a stale taste. We have been here a couple times before so we already had low expectations when it came to atmosphere, but after this visit we will definitely not come back.

I'd leave minus stars for service if I could. What was supposed to be an end to an amazing day with my sister trying on dresses was awful. As 2 former servers, we were appalled by the service. The server kept making excuses for her short comings and completely disappearing. Instead of owning up to her mistakes she ignored us. She brought out 2 plates at a time for the 6 guests. But not one after the other, by the time I received my salad my daughter was basically done eating her spagetti. We had to ask for silverware so we could eat. Dressings weren't brought out for 2 of the salads. She brought out 2 orders of sweet potato fries when one was ordered but completely forgot to put in the eggplant fries. I'm guessing thats why my salad took 20 minutes to come out after all the other food.We overheard her tell another table that came in a bit after us, while she sobbed her mother passed the week before. Though I felt sorry, it was very uncomfortable to the point that table waited until she walked away and left without ordering food. After that she asked if we needed boxes, dropped them , never asked if we wanted anything else or the check then disappeared again. Finally after 10 minutes, my mother went to the bar to pay. Looking at the check she not only charged us for the eggplant fries but the 2 sweet potato ones too. When I walked into the bar, there she was laughing and talking to a table in the bar like she had no other tables. I could understand if they were busy for how long we waited for her to grace our presence but we were the only table in there besides a few guests at the bar at that time. She was just beyond unprofessional. Just as we're done paying she walks up to us surprised and was like oh you're done? I would save your money and go elsewhere. My sister and her best friend use to go there years ago and raved about this place. First and last time for us.
