Gem in the woods! An Italian bakery that can stand proud along side the ones I’ve been used to for over 50 years in New Haven. The bread, pastry, cookies, pizza and more are all outstanding. It will definitely be my home away from home bakery.

Lately we’ve been very disappointed with the freshness of their pastries; when they are fresh, they are delicious but more often than not, they are dried out and stale. I happened to be in the area after leaving a book sale. Before driving back home, I decided to get something to eat. I am so glad I stopped at this wonderful bakery! Because I couldn’t purchase everything, I look forward to returning. The cinnamon rolls with raisins are delicious!!

Absolutely outstanding experience with Angelo's Bakery every time ....you can special order anything from a amazing Birthday cake from scratch, special fillings,and butter cream toppings, pies, Italian homemade cookies, breads,all kinds of delicious desserts...everything is outstanding...everything is always baked daily for freshness...the best bakery in Connecticut for sure:)
Angelo's is one of my favorite places in Connecticut for delicious pizza and pastries/ cookies. Old school feel , Domenica is wonderful to chat with and everything they carry is authentic. I haven't had cookies that good since I was a kid and my aunt Immaculate would make for us. Takes me back in time to great family memories and traditions.

we ordered a custom birthday cake although it was extremely beautiful the cake itself was very dry and the raspberry mousse black flavor completely, it was very disappointing for the price that I paid for it
