The Pad Thai isn't correct at all. Pad Thai is supposed to be a balance of sweet and salty - what I received tasted like buffalo wings. It was rather hot - I'm not really supposed to have spicy food - and nothing on the menu lead me to believe it would be considered spicy at all. I couldn't eat it. Pretty disappointed since we used to get takeout here all the time.
We usually get dinner to go but decided to dine in and it was really nice! The wait staff was friendly and attentive and we even got cocktails and dessert! Somehow the food tasted better in the Asian-inspired atmosphere ?

Ordered last night. Food is tasteless, was charged more to remove an item from the order! My husband went to pick up our online order, but he ended up at the wrong restaurant. Had I known, I'd have directed him over to Lucky House, where we usually get our food. What should have been a $23 order turned into $45 because he went to the wrong spot.Unless you like bland food, and paying more for it, don't bother with Gung ho... I can say that the (according to my husband) the lady who served him seemed nice. Head over to Lucky House instead, better food, better prices, and great service. It's takeout only, but we'll worth it. It's just down the street and next to the colchester post office.

The food was incredibly expensive for something so mediocre. I spent $86 for something that at any other Chinese food restaurant would have been $43. Here I thought okay let me give this place the benefit of the doubt… maybe the food is really good…. I was wrong. My beef and broccoli was grey, they gave us fried rice when we asked for white rice. WE HAD NO FORKS in the bag and they never asked. The dumplings werent cooked all the way and the crabrangoons were a 4.9 out of 10 and there were full chunks of eggs in the rice.

After 20 years of going to Gung Ho its time to give up. Our waitress had some perfume on that was way too strong. My friends spoon was dirty. They never gave us plates for the appetizers. We were never asked fried or steamed dumplings and honestly they tasted like someone slapped some spam in the dough and thats it. The crab rangoon was mostly cream cheese with very little crab (if any). The eggrolls were over cooked. The boneless spare ribs were very dry and tough to the point I had to use my fingers to rip it. The gung bo chicken didnt taste like peanuts and was actually too spicy to eat at first my friend had to add soy sauce to barely be able to eat it. Also we listened to the waitress loudly say "since when are we letting children throw things on the floor" while cleaning up and then kinda make fun of a customer breaking a glass (after they left thank goodness").

Small salads to go. Small portions. Spice and flavor were off on Drunken noodles. Had to return for duck sauce.

This is for a take out order.I think Hung Ho has fallen in quality. The order was dry, bland, and specifically re: fried calamari... Inedible. We ended up throwing away a ton of food due to the lack of quality. The Pad Thai was similarly dry and tasteless... Tossed away. I don't see us going here again.
