The lunch bowl is a fantastic meal. Very filling with soup, salad and then the main entree which is a lot of food.

I like the makizushi, nigiri, and sashimi here. Excellent gyoza also. Not sure about the routine chinese american takeout items. Limited selection for mixed drinks, however what is available has always been very well put together. Very nice and swift service. Really cool ambience.

And the fried ice cream was lots of fun.

Food quality has declined over the years. Tonight’s meal was disappointing. Basil Chicken that was listed as spicy on the menu but was anything but spicy. Also no flavor. Orange chicken was actually “gummy”. This was not a one time occurrence and has been disappointing for the last few meals there. It’s time to “ditch the Ich”.

Very disappointed. When ordering dinner with veggies only, there were no additional veggies. Seaweed salad was more regular lettuce with a small amount of seaweed for $8 and came in a very small container. Lower your prices or provide what is being ordered.

The sesame chicken was way too sweet, like eating a sundae

Unfortunately I think I got food poisoning from the drunken noodles with shrimp I ate at around 4 pm. It resulted in 6 hours of vomiting with a smashing headache.I cannot be certain they are at fault, but it seems unlikely because the only other thing I ate yesterday was a microwaved vegetarian meal.I will probably go back, but only stick to sushi from now on.

The Buddha’s feast was pretty tasteless, the brown sauce didn’t have any seasoning. Sesame tofu had too much sauce and only 5 pieces of vegetables. I suggest less sauce and more veggies. Felt very heavy without enough veggies. Vegetable dumpling tasted good but the green dough was strange. Dough was also very thick, would suggest a more typical thin dumpling dough. Waitress was very attentive and helpful. Atmosphere was good but we smelled cigarette smoke at one point and it seemed to be coming from near the kitchen. Overall, ok place to eat but some things they can work on to make it better regarding food quality and atmosphere.

My wife had the sushi sashimi combo, which was $35 and had more than an ample amount of fresh looking and tasting fish. I had the scallop hibachi which I believe was either 23 or $25. Not a cheap night but the service was very good, and I enjoyed my meal and the taste of the food . There was definitely a decent amount of scallops that were cooked properly.

Parking: Large parking lot and we were able to park right at the front door

Nice large restaurant (some sushi places I’ve been to feel claustrophobic). Friendly service. Everything I’ve tried has been tasty and I’ve been here on about 5 occasions. I really like how thin the layer of rice is on the maki; I hate when it’s half the total width. 5 stars!!
