Bland and unappealing food.

Purchased the Singapore Chow Fun and Dragon and Phoenix. The chow fun had the right amount of spice, and was very good. The spicy shrimp in the Dragon and Phoenix is very good, the shrimp was perfectly done. The chicken was good, but not as good as the other dishes. Good value, will repeat.

I only order a small BBQ spare rib, and 3 out of 4 pieces were awesome, but the 4th piece was absolutely burnt and I was surprised to see it, I've worked in the food industry before and from personal experience I would never serve someone something that burnt. Just being honest. I took a picture of it but it won't let me add it here, but it was straight black and inedible.

They are not as good as they used to be. My pork fried rice was cold, dry, and did not taste good at all. My sesame chicken, which was in the same container as the pork fried rice. Guess the rice sat waiting g on the chicken. I'm sure we won't go back. My husband had a pint of pork fried rice his was just as bad as my rice was, except his was warm. I'm just so disappointed that it was not good at all.

My first time eating their food. Food was not even close to ready when I arrived, waited almost 15 mins on top of the 15 mins they said. Food was really really over priced and just ok. Kinda looks like a mix of beef and chicken or some other animal. Not sure.

Walked in to place an order. Food was cooked within 5 minutes. Very nice lady spoke to several customers who were picking up phone orders. She knew them by first name and was asking about their families. Love this.
Food was cooked nicely. Fresh, crispy egg roll. Happy Family was delicious and piping hot. Even the fortune cookie was fresh and crunchy.

Food was tasty but FAR too expensive. Portions have been reduced but prices increased. I used to be able to order a large chicken with broccoli, eat some chicken and all of the broccoli for dinner. I would then add my own broccoli to the leftover chicken and eat it as my lunch the next day! Not this time! There might have been 8-10 (at most) pieces of chicken and probably the same amount of broccoli florets. Very disappointed.
I get that everything costs more AND I will pay for it, but there has to be a middle ground. I paid $30 including tip for food that would have cost them $8 (at most) to make and package!

Besides another issue I had, which the owners did remedy to a very satisfactory resolution, I got home after my second trip there to exchange some wrong food out and find my wife opening the containers. So for $12+ we get a lot of broccoli and 5 very small and very thin peices of chicken in her chicken and broccoli large size order, as well as a few shreds of chicken in an order of chicken Mei fun. This place used to be my favorite place to the point I was bummed if they closed for a vacation and i wanted to not cook, but I'll say after multiple issues and let downs today I just can't muster up the strength to return and pay $12-$13 per dish that has near no protein when it's in the dishes name. I'm just so so disappointed because I didn't want to have to cook but now I need to provide a protein source for the family because it was just non-existent in the food we ordered. I feel really bad writing this because after agreeing that I would not write a review due to a compromise, I just can't let anyone else spend $50+ and get skimped on the "expensive" part of the dish. When I got home the second time and opened the sesame chicken, the container was barely 3/4 full AND had a layer of broccoli on the bottom so it wasn't even a normal size portion for the non-combination entree which made sharing among 4 people difficult. The reason for 3 stars across the board is because, in my opinion, the food is actually tasty. I'll definitely miss coming here but I'll just have to search out a new place. I wish this place all the best because the two owners seemed very nice, but that only gets so far. Customer service and food are the things that will keep people coming back.

Recently found this Chinese restaurant in Colchester and first time it was not bad! The second and third time I got sick. The shrimp were undercooked and the broccoli was way too hard. Needless to say i Won’t be going back there again, I don’t have time to be sick from undercooked seafood! ✌? ?

Clean environment. Friendly service. Fried pork dumplings with the sauce were yummy and the price point made it a great deal. Spicy Hot Beef was really tasty. Kitchen appears to offer new dishes on occasion.

Parking: If the few spots in front are all taken, there is a large parking lot adjacent.
