My fiancé and I were looking for dessert, and the Mad Hatter Cafe had been on my list for a while since it was Alice in Wonderland themed, which I thought was pretty unique. The cafe had a nice variety of treats to pick from - shakes, ice cream, mochi, Spanish desserts, truffles, and more. The ice cream was fine, and the mochi was a bit artificial tasting. The biggest let down for us was how awkward the experience was. There was no music being played, so it was just dead silent as we tried to figure out what we wanted as the staff watched us. There were some nods to Alice in Wonderland with hats for sale and a mural, but it was mostly covered by pictures of their menu offerings. We didn’t hang out to eat in the cafe, since it was pretty small and awkwardly quiet, so we ate in the car. With some improvements, this spot could have a lot of potential.

Tried it for the first time. Had the salted caramel, which was creamy and not overly sweet. Another person ordered the mango sorbet. It was full of flavor and creamy. Such a great treat.Had something called the magonada. It is a mix of mango sorbet, mango juice and something else. They then coat the cup in tajin ( some kind of chili spice). I am not super adventurous, but I gave it a try. It had a smoky salty taste to it. Not what I was expecting, but as the young lady said at the counter, the spice counter balanced the sweetness of the mango which it certainly did.Overall, a cute little shop with great flavors and attentive staff. Worth a try.

I was highly disappointed with my recent visit which was a let down because I was super excited to finally get to stop in to try the cafe out. I’m assuming it was a family business because when I entered there was a bunch of younger children hanging around inside. Nobody greeted us and it was an awkward transaction. I ordered a small ice cream as well as my husband. As we were waiting to check out a child sitting in the lobby was taking pictures of my husband and I and posting them on social media, laughing. Shortly after one of the children came behind the counter and joined in. Although I was very confused on the situation, I paid for my order and left. The ice cream was mediocre and the caramel sauce tasted out dated. Again I was very disappointed with the way the establishment is ran. There was no professionalism or customer service. I will not be returning again.

Super friendly atmosphere and delicious sweet treats! The mochi was delicious and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed their ice cream. Tried Mexican Fried Dough that was delicious too!

The atmosphere was really great and the staff was super friendly. My friend and I ordered the raspberry mochi and the presentation was adorable! I really want to give this place five stars but I got food poisoning from the mochi.

Went today to get a mangonada, it was on the bland side. Went a month ago and it was amazing. Also got some vanilla ice cream with lemon sorbet but they seemed to have run out of vanilla ice cream around 4pm today. Flavors are great. Nice place to sit outside

Delicious after work treat. The man who served us by apologizing for “overfilling the cup” and gave us a truffle to try for free. The man mentioned that people aren’t shopping and are getting ice cream out of town. Please shop in town and small. These places are so valuable! We had such a great experience.
Great selection of Gelato and Mochi! Nice clean store, friendly knowledgeable staff. Outdoor seating. Would recommend :)
