Since our trip to Italy, my husband and I are always searching for the most authentic homemade pasta back home. We discovered Il pastaficio on guy fieri’s Triple D. So we decided to make the trip from Long Island to try it out for ourselves. And I’m so glad we did. The place was clean, quaint and the staff was super helpful.
I got the penne pasta with sausage in a creamy truffle sauce & my husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara. With the first bite we took, we were instantly transported back to Italia. The pasta was fresh, tasty and light. We barely spoke to each other. We just wanted to enjoy every bite!
I highly recommend this place. It was worth the trip!
We even made sure to take food back with us for dinner.

Wow as authentic and fresh as you can get. I had the opportunity to host a 6 person dinner in the restaurant. Although takeout orders still do occur, we had plenty of room and felt “right a home”. Service was excellent. Baratta was fresh and creamy. Focaccia bread may have been the BEST I’ve ever had. Nice garden salad. Two pastas were exceptional and complemented each other: pear/cheese ravioli and authentic carbonara - wonderful! Dessert was exquisite: tiramisu and two kinds of cannoli. Price is more than fair as I had lunch for 4 people the next day. Truly a hidden gem!!!
