Was that just the best Reuben that I've ever had in my life? I don't think I remember one as good. I haven't put my finger on whether it was the dressing the sauerkraut or the meat, but it was unbelievably delectable ..I will travel out of my way to come here!

If you are looking for great old school deli with great people like Steve, this is the place. My family and I were visiting on vacation and our friend recommended Rinaldi’s Deli. Everyone’s sandwich was delicious, great bread, fresh sliced deli meat and cheese. I ordered The Beast, roast beef, provolone, horseradish, and cole slaw, it was excellent. If you are in Cos Cob/ Greenwich, CT area, go see Steve at Rinaldi’s and tell him the Royals fan sent you.

I used to go here a lot as a kid and I would always get a bruin with cones. I went again 5 years later this time after I moved out from cos cob to Florida. Not only were my cones cold on the sandwich but I felt rushed and the man at the register was rude. I remember there being a nice lady who used to run the shop so I don’t know if there was a change of management or something. It also felt a lot more empty and like it didn’t have the personality it used to.

Very near where I work and a great place to grab a bit both for breakfast and for lunch.

Ownership has changed, however, the quality of food and service has not. Stopped in this morning, after not being there for a while, and got the sandwich on their breakfast. Menu called the Cornell. Basically a pastrami, egg and cheese. I added hot cherry peppers. I told them I wanted a lot of them. Aside from the fact that I got close to the same amount, I believe, as they would put on a pastrami sandwich as a lunch sandwich, it was smothered in cherry peppers. Eggs were cooked perfect. If you've never been in, it's a got a try.

Been going here for years. Unfortunately, thing's have changed a bit since the change in ownership. The Milbrook I ordered two days ago, and the same two weeks ago both had very thin, cooked-many-times-till-dark-breadcrumbs chicken on it. This used to be an amazing chicken cutlet. The sandwich is still otherwise delicious, but it feels like there's some attempt to cut costs here.... I'll go back.... maybe try something else next time as I always get the same thing.

Best deli in town, been going here since 6th grade and now that I am in college it is always the first place I go to when I get home. Sandwiches are second to none.

Just simply the best. Great food, service and people. Couldn't have a better neighbor hood deli.

This place always has long line during breakfast and lunch time. Parking is tough, the store is small, but quite organized. After placed order and get your food, then proceed to pay. Food is really good and price is reasonable.

This place is known around town as THE deli to go to. Family run, good food, at prices you'd expect. I want to give this location 5 stars, but in reality that's what it's being judged as - a location. This place is POPULAR. And with very little seating (as it's primarily a pickup-and-go kind of place) there isn't much reason for them to have much space. However they have almost no space. It gives a very crammed, "hole-in-the-wall" kind of feeling (even though its a stand-alone building). And, it being on the corner of a 5 way intersection with limited parking makes it a hassle. With also only 3 parking spaces, one casheir and a long loop-around line that plays ring-around-the-snack-stand after spending 2 minutes trying to park; its difficult not to get an off feeling as a customer. Most people do park along the road, and the cops don't seem to mind - but that doesn't equate to a proper solution. Seeing as you could absolutely get a ticket for doing so, I stand by my metric of 3 actual spots.Despite its shortcomings, people absolutely flock to this place simply for its food and family-style process. These are the type of guys who know their regulars by name and work hard to make sure they sell out by early afternoon with mostly fresh ingredients. It should go without saying that my 4 star rating is not a reflection of overall quality in the world of food, but moreover a rating for the type of place it is. Like, I wouldn't rate a McDonald's 1 star for not having good wine and fancy seating. This is a small delishack and I'm rating it as such. I would absolutely give it 5 stars if it weren't for the terrible parking and crammed mini-interior. It's also worth mentioning that the lines aren't always long, but if it's anything like 11am on a beautiful summer Saturday then you should know what to expect.Overall I definitely recommend you go here if you like the kinds of locations you'd see in a state like Maine. If you're looking for something more "Greenwich", then it probably isn't you're cup of tea.
