If you are a connoisseur of eating sandwiches, pasta, other excellent dishes, and homemade mozzarella cheese, then this is the #1 deli for you in life, let alone in Greenwich. The Cos Cob Crusher is incredible, I ask for mine with extra cheese, a little balsamic vinegar and toasted. If you have an issue with something you ordered, tell Orlando before you leave so that he can fix the confusion. Orlando is the man and one of the best business owners in the area! Best deli in Connecticut. Everything is made fresh by the owner. The baked goods are incredible. The mozzarella is better than what we had in Italy. Highly recommend the Cos Cob Crusher — chicken cutlets are made fresh and the owner picks up the bread every morning from Arthur Ave. Never had something we didn’t like from here. 11/10.
This place is excellent. The sandwiches here are what you would expect from the best Italian Delis. Villa Nuova does not need this positive review but they deserve it. 10/10 - no notes.
