Well the third time was the charm this afternoon! Before I even got to the parking lot that sweet heavenly smell of a smoker was hitting my senses!I ordered app portions of brisket and pulled pork and a side of dirty rice. And Wowza! Yum to the yum when I got home!I polished off the rice but split the meats in half to have some for tomorrow. It was very nice meeting you both and I will definitely be back. Hope to try a rack of ribs next! Thanks again and great job! I lived in North Carolina for ten years so I know good BBQ and yours it definitely that!

I ordered the piggy mac, and the brisket sandwich. The website mentioned a burnt ends sandwich special that day but when I asked the woman taking the order, she said it wasn’t on the menu paper that day and therefore wasn’t available. Ten mins or so she brings me my bag and I head to my car. When i take out my sandwich, it is neither of the 2 sandwiches I ordered and there was only 1 overall in the bag. I went back and asked for my sandwiches and she took the bag and headed back to the sea container/kitchen. Came out a few mins later with my correct order. These sandwiches were of hearty size, and the flavor was amazing. They are pricey but when you consider the processed sandwich Subway charges you $15 for now (which cost $5 a few years ago), these smoked sandwiches are well worth it. The end product makes up for the scatter-minded woman running the ordering shack/ ice shanty. The neighnorhood is rough, the ambiance is a bit odd, but the food still commands 5 stars on its own.Parking: Parking was across the street but overall easily accessible. Plenty of spots 20+ for a small place.

This place is absolutely amazing, as someone who enjoys BBQing on the weekend I can really appreciate the effort this establishment takes to make high quality BBQ. The portions are great and the food is amazing. I highly recommend. If you’re looking for something quick and cheap this isn’t for you go get a McRib at McDonald’s But if your looking for quality stop in or Order online. Remember Good bbq takes time, effort, experience, and of course money so place deserves what they charge you can tell he has a passion for Bbq! Keep up the good work!

I have had many things on the menu. It always blows my mind what Paul, the owner/artist can do with smoking and BBQ. So greatful when I see him at events and that he is our local gem right here in Danielson!Kid-friendliness: Paul is one of the most gentle humans you can encounter. I love it when my kids get to see such a hard worker like him in action.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all on 1 level right off the sidewalk.

We stopped to pick up pre ordered ribs to bring all the way home to Philly. They didn’t make it to Philly. They were devoured in a parking lot of some rest stop because the smell was amazing and the taste even better and we couldn’t resist. No regrets, except that next time we will get a double order to actually bring some home.

A regular treat for me! I love everything I’ve ever tried here. The brisket is unmatched, and the new smoked pork belly is absolutely to die for! Nice people and delicious BBQ at a fair price. They’re frequently adding and rotating menu specials so there’s always something new to get excited about!

The food is really good, but the portions are very small. 15 dollars for 4 pieces of pork belly is ridiculous. Especially when you don't have any comfort. You can't eat

BBQ is different. It's a religion of sorts. The faithful flock to where it's extraordinary. And the extraordinary tends to end up in the weirdest places ... like in a back lane behind a clothing store in the half-empty downtown of once-prosperous Killingly, CT. It took me two tries to find it. Finally I followed my nose. This was my first visit. Order the brisket on first visits I'd been told. If the brisket is good, the rest of the menu probably will be, too. Today I ordered a sandwich called The Dirty Bastard (loved the film). It was the first item listed on today's menu and featured "our perfectly smoked brisket doused in our peppered sausage gravy." Say no more. Super juicy. Nicely pink. Full of flavor. Not fatty, but enough. On a forgettable bun. That's not a complaint, by the way. Some of the best, beloved BBQ I've eaten across America and Canada came served with white bread from a discount supermarket. In the land of BBQ, the bread is just a kind of plate. Its purpose is to soak up the juices before they stain your lap. Wicked Sinister's "hand-cut French fries" will likely always be included in my future orders (oh, yes: I'll be back, with friends). "Sides" like fries are an important part of the BBQ experience. Wicked also offered today "dirty rice" and "smoked maple bacon mac and cheese." Their hand-cut fries are thin like McDonald's, "deep fried in tallow made from our brisket trimmings." Irresistible. I went whole hog, burying my fries beneath cheese and bacon bits. It was tasty for a few mouthfuls, but there was too much topping glop (my fault; not theirs). Pacing is important in BBQ. You can fill up in a minute with this kind of food. Take your time. Savor.

Met the guys at Putnam Fire and Ice. The brisket was top notch. Moist and full of flavor, not a bit of fat that some of the other places pass off for bbq brisket. 5 stars all the way. Will be returning again.
