Had to call multiple times to be able to speak to someone in the flower department to take an order for me. When I did, the flower department manager, Florisa, interrogated me about the purpose of the flowers and where is my house, etc. She was very unfriendly and rude. I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Went to this store today and the young lady, Snow at the register was rude, after ringing the customer in front of me, she just left the register to place the Debit /Credit Card sign at the front of the conveyor belt. Isn't the whole store Debit or credit? Could this have waited? Could you have pardoned yourself. She never said hi or even cracked a smile. Back to Trader Joes I go.

This is to the management at the Darien location. During your senior hour you ask people if they're 60+. Clearly the young lady who jumped in line ahead of me was NOT a senior, yet no one stopped her. Please check licenses to verify ages and PLEASE insist on masks and gloves being worn by all shoppers!! You can do this. You're a private corporation. I don't feel safe or respected shopping in your store anymore.

The help is not very helpful and at times rude. The store has become very dirty. Customer service is not the same as when they first opened and the hot and cold food bars are a mess! The prepared foods have definitely gone down hill the quality taste and cleanliness. The policies of the store are not customer friendly like they were when they first opened yet the prices are sky high without any competitive pricing. It is a shame because the concept for Whole foods was great organic whole foods with great customer service but it is not that at all. No organic prepared foods bad quality prepared foods and old organic fruits and vegetables to pick from with high prices. The soup bar at one time offered a clean environment with tasty soups and that no longer exists. The soups are less then satisfactory with a dirty soup station.

Jeff Bezos, why don't you spend less time trying to sell cloud services to the government and more time keeping the shelves stocked at Whole Foods. The ever popular 2 week cleanse has been missing from the shelves for months. Not cool...

I wrote a one-star review because of their meat department. But I was at the store and needed some larger beets than they had in the store. The gentlemen who was stocking the shelves went back to their inventory twice and found me 10 large yellow beets, the right size. He went out of his way to get me what I needed. Well done, so I guess it's up to the individual to make a store successful.

One of the worst Whole Foods I've been to. Salad bar and pre-made food selection was mediocre at best. Not to mention some of the food available wasn't fresh. The man working behind the counter wasn't helpful in getting me what I needed (plain grilled chicken). Also wanted to grab some kombucha and probiotic drinks, which I can only get at Whole Foods, and they didn't have any available. Ended up leaving and going up the street to the next one. Don't recommend.

I'd have given it 5 stars if they had steak at the ready to eat hot bar. Otherwise, great place to shop. Like the size(not too big), gluten feee beer, great bread, easy on and off from I-95.

My favorite place to get groceries in the entire state of CT. I live in Greenwich, but I come to this location every week. It's bigger, newer, and seemingly better than the one in my town. Prices are the same - unapologetically expensive. But the products are top-notch in terms of quality and freshness. Most of the staff are helpful. Prepared foods are delicious and healthy.

I am writing the review based on the hot bar and the prepared foods only. As a grocery store it is wonderful and super convenient as I work close by and am at WF almost daily. But the buffet, salad bar and prepared food has gone downhill over the past few years. I boycotted eating my daily lunch there for about 6 months and decided to eat there again with my friend today. He had the chicken soup and a huge bone got stuck in his throat and scratched the back of his mouth. I had the shrimp scampi which was good but one shrimp was mushy and old. The buffalo wings had ZERO flavor. Like wood chips would have tasted better. They were dried up too. I went to the salad bar to get some "chunky" blue cheese dressing to give it a little flavor and it poured out so fast because it was watered down and also had no flavor. Very disappointed considering the money I spent.

I usually shop at the Whole Foods at Lake Grove in Suffolk County NY which I would give 5 stars. The Darien CT Whole Foods is a disgrace. I ordered a cake for a shower. After much discussion the cake was not to order, I ordered different filling and a different trim. The baker totally ignored my requests. The cake was $75 - not cheap by any standard. The mini cookie platter featured stale cookies. The girl who prepared it was so friendly the day before. I couldn't believe she would give me stale cookies. The platter cost a grip too - for what? The fruit platters which were $40 each had hacked not cut fruit which resembled what an 8 year old who just learned how to handle a knife would present. A slice of the fruit was slimy according to a guest at the party. How embarassing. Never again Whole Foods in Darien, Ct. Thank God I don't have to frequent again. I was hosting an out of town party and thought I could trust Whole Foods Customer Care Comment from Customer Care of Whole Foods Market Business Customer Service 1/23/2019 Hello Dawn--We're so sorry you had this experience at our store. Please send details at wfm.com/help and reference this review. We would like to have the appropriate team look into this and follow up with you. Thank you. UPDATE It has been over 3 months since this review. They haven't done anything. I called to check up on it a couple weeks ago and the gentleman who answered at Whole Foods customer service told me that indeed they had the info that they were supposed to follow up with me but it just hasn't happened yet... so again I was so disappointed. I don't know if it's because Amazon took over or what but this whole foods is terrible I should be compensated somehow for the horrible service that I received during a family event as chronicled above. I don't know when or if they will ever ever follow up.

(Translated by Google) Very bad the receptions are very derogatory they treat you like disgust .... What a pity!

Pass on this one folks. Haven't really seen costs come down, but have seen quality tumble since the Amazon purchase. Bought an $11 prepared salad (rip off I know, but I was starving...) and it smelled so rotten from the moment I opened it (same day) it could be smelled across the room. I should've driven it back but I forgot about it. This was the last in a series of quality issues since the A takeover, I've taken to simply skipping it altogether.

I don't know why I go there. I stopped Saturday after work at approx 5 pm. The store was packed with people racing around the isles with shopping carts acting like they had brain surgery in 5 minutes and they had to get out of there. A lot of the shelves especially in the meat department needed to be restocked. I asked one of the employees if she could tell me where the water chestnuts would be. She took me to dried chestnuts and said that is all they carry I kept looking by myself and eventually found them. I asked about another item and an employee pointed to an area and said I think over there. The register people have never smiled any time I've been there. I'm not going to make friends but acting like you hate being there is not the attitude you want your employees to project. I can go to my local Shop Rite. Ask an employee any question about an item and they will not only immediately tell me what isle they will even show you where it's at. Management needs to take a hard look at their employees
