First time here and would definitely be back. Although my friend's birthday was not acknowledged, it was still a great meal. Service was excellent. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. I had the burrata appetizer, which was plentiful and really meant to share. Large portions of prosciutto and roasted peppers accompanied the burrata. Very good. My friend had the clams oreganata, a bit salty but good as well. She had the Sunday dinner pasta, which had a combo of meats and very flavorful. I dithered between the branzino and halibut, and at the waiter's suggestion chose the branzino. To die for! The flavor combos with the apricot on the fish and whatever it was in the shaved brussel sprout/mushroom medly was excellent. Luckily it was enough for two meals for me so I could enjoy it the next day as well. Our dessert was a special, which was an apple cake with vanilla ice cream sitting in caramel. Yum! We came early so it wasn't loud. And it was odd to see the manager serving tables and kind of running around checking everything. But overall, a nice place, good food and we will be back.
We took my mother-in-law here for her birthday and the wait staff went above and beyond to help us celebrate. And the food was fantastic.
Normally, Antonio's is very dark and there is a murmur of people talking. The night we went was much more quiet and the ambiance was a bit brighter than normal. I think there was only 1 waiter working, so the manager waited on us. He was a bit of a close talker, but he did a good job. I would have preferred if he didn't talk so closely to my face. Our food was very good - with 2 exceptions. Our fried burrata appetizer was cold and my branzino entree had zero flavor. There was no seasoning at all! I never ask for salt, but I needed it. It was also pretty cold in the restaurant. We will definitely be back, but maybe will get different food options next time.
Antonio's is very popular and ban be crowded and and noisy at night, but for lunch, it is rarely crowded. The menu is varied with lots of food choices. I especially like the halibut or the veal. The plates always presented beautifully, and the food is always excellent. They also have a nice wine list. The service is great, of course, and it is open on Mondays. I love going to Antonio's for lunch!
Love Antonio!s but food last time was disappointing. Not sure why but cod fish was watery and bolognese sauce hardly had any meat. Someone in kitchen wasn't paying attention. Neither my date nor I ate much of our main course.
As always, it was another fabulous evening. The food is always spectacular and made even better by all that work there making it always just perfect. We love it here!!
Cocktails and food are excellent. Also worth noting is that the maitre d Abe seems to work hard to ensure top notch service while also projecting a very professional image (dressed in a suit and tie), more a kin to a restaurant in Europe than here in the US, as is the ambiance with the white tablecloths. And by Connecticut standards the pricing is reasonable. Have been there now several times and have never been disappointed.
We had been to Antonio's when they first opened and they were still finding their feet. This visit was excellent with good fine and finely paced service. Well done!
This restaurant is superb. Food is amazing. Staff is friendly and Maitre de coordinates everything with grace and verve. I always follow his excellent recommendations. I have no hesitations about returning since food, service and ambience is first rate.
My wife and I had a lovely dinner(our first) at Antonio's. We split the special Porterhouse for two, which was delicious. Very pleasant ambiance and noise level allowed us to enjoy a normal conversation, which is sadly a rarity in today's restaurant scene. We will go back and try some of pasta and regional cuisine.

Have been quite a few times to Antonio's and service and food consistently very good. I would only suggest that the portion size for Tortellini alla Panna is too small.
Antonio's is a nice bubbling restaurant with warmth and nice hospitality. Tonight the kitchen was short staffed and still did an outstanding job. Jimmy is attentive and on top of things Didn't care for the eggplant roolatini The chicken scarpielo was outstanding. Different version of clams oreganato, but was superb with nice prices of garlic
A relatively new spot, local to me, with delicious Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine. Parking can be a slight challenge on a busy night, but it's worth an extra loop or two around the block.
Antonio's was hopping on a Saturday night! Our meal was excellent, service was great. Will be back....
The service was very attentive and the food was delicious! Ambiance was very nice - not crowded as it was a monday night. Great experience!
