As always, in my experience, Bertucci's did not disappoint. We took advantage of their Tuesday BOGO large pizza deal. This time we purchased two half & half pizzas so we could try four different pies. What we got: Nolio - 5* this one is good but super heavy. Roasted Vegetables - 5* what a fantastic veggie pizza! I especially loved that mushrooms were NOT an option. Hallelujah! The eggplant was also fan-freakin-tastic. Big Papi - 5* this was a repeat get for us. It was just as delicious, though there seemed to be less hot honey drizzled on it that when we got it the first time. I'm guessing it's due to being split on a half and half pizza. Bertucci - 4* pretty good for a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni has a very nice flavor. Compared to the other ones we got though this one felt simple. On its own I'm sure it's be a 5* stunner, but it's hard to compare when next to all of the above.

Made a reservation 24 hours in advance and when I got here, was told it was a 30 minute wait. I'm not sure what the point of them taking a reservation is if you get put in the normal queue if you just show up. They did me a favor though because the food is abysmal. My father likes it, so I suffer through it for his sake. Poor guy has the palate of a cardboard box so this discount dumpster Italian tastes good to him. Don't send me private messages asking if I ruled out if my father has Alzheimer's and although a serious memory ailment would explain why he keeps coming back here, completely forgetting how terrible it is, time and time again, and that would be a great explanation, but no, it's not Alzheimer's, just a bizarre taste for processed prepackaged frozen trash. Do your family a favor and go literally anywhere else.

sadly my first time,but Pasta not that good pizza ? I've never seen a restaurant so rough on someone's debit card b4... my fiance got his custom Cash card back and a chunk was broken off the card... he had to pay a fee to order another since it was a custom signed and decorated card.. next time Guess I'll order ?..

Absolutely wonderful! Valerie is the most amazing worker, she cares so much about the enjoyment the customers and always puts a smile on our face. The food was delicious and the service was 110%

At 4:54 p.m. today I called to order 2 pizzas for pickup. I ordered a large cheese pizza and a large white pizza with broccoli and roasted garlic but the girl on the phone didn't understood what I wanted. I repeated it a few times and she said it would be ready in 30 minutes. When my husband went to pick it up at 5:30 they said it wasn't ready because I called at 5:24. I called and spoke to someone who said the girl didn't understand what I wanted so she never put in the order. My husband waited for another to be ready but it came out wrong anyway. He wasn't even offered a discount for the inconvenience.

I’m very pleased/satisfied with the service my family received last week at Bertucci’s. My brother had his reception there and ended up also having his ceremony there due to the rain. From start to finish, all of the food was very delicious, no one had any complaints. Only slight criticism is that although the wait staff were very kind and attentive, there were a couple of times where we had to get their attention or find one if we needed something. Special Thanks to Petula, she answered every question we had and was very professional at all times with us.

On 4/22/22, my wife and I went to Bertucci’s in Darien for dinner. The happy hour drink and food menu was very nice. The whole experience was enhanced by the wonderful service and friendly demeanor of Valerie. Although she wore many hats and performed many duties while we there, she never lost her pleasant efficiency. We plan on returning and hope that Valerie is on duty when we do so.

What a s*** show. Do not recommend. Called an order for pick up and was told 30 minutes got there 30 min later and had to wait another 30 minutes for a single pizza. The entire takeout area was FILLED with pissed off customers because their orders were either late, made wrong, or simple could not be found at all. So good luck with this place.

We stopped here for dinner, on a reservation, with 60+ middle school kids on a field trip. This place was amazing... they had everything ready to go... seating space, food, place was clean and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Thank you.... very well done!

Our waitress, Valerie was fantastic! So attentive and friendly and gosh is she fast. This was my first visit to Bertucci’s. I would come back just to see Valerie again!

Had a great lunch and experience @ Darien Bertucci’s. My wife and I had a pizza with everything and it was thoughtfully served by Valerie. The service was the best part: complete, thoughtful and warm. We’ve been coming here for a long time and it is great to see that great service is still here. Thx!

Absolutely deplorable. Unclean, poor service and the ladies room ...I've seen cleaner bathrooms at bus depots. Almost too scary to use at all. The pizza was undercooked, the salsa horribly wilted and after a very ling wait I actually had to walk to the bar myself and ask for water. It was super noisy in there a well and just basically run down and dirty. I felt badly for the wait staff as they seemed unsupported, overworked and a bit confused. All around it was a really disappointing and disturbing experience. I think I'm done with Bertuccis. They've lost their edge since the bankruptcy!

I've had very mixed experiences with this restaurant. We ordered their Alfredo, garlic knots, and some other items using door dash. It was super delicious, so we decided to eat in the restaurant. It was ok, but it was not nearly as good as when we door dashed. We tried it again in the event that was an off night. The food is good, especially the garlic knots are good, but the service in restaurant is lack luster.
