This is quite simply one of the best and most consistently excellent restaurants of this type around. Their management and wait staff could not be more accommodating and sweet. We've been eating in restaurant or via take-out weekly for nearly a year now and we literally have nothing bad to say. Keep up the great work Bodega Darien!

Terrible for pickup. I just ordered a quesadilla and burrito had a minor special request and they didn’t follow any of the instructions! They didn’t let me know just made me something different. Very disappointing and I wouldn’t trust them if you have any special requests on your order

Wonderful and affordable bodega/restaurant. They have a wonderful menu of different types of tacos. I had the breakfast bowl that had Brussel sprouts, avocado, grilled veggies, farro, 2 sunny side up eggs and more! My wife had the Ya Mon taco salad! It was delicious and fresh! The atmosphere is warm and inviting!

This is a great little Mexican style place in the middle of town. Their specialty is a menu of single tacos with a variety of fillings and sauces. They also have other traditional options like quesadillas and salad. Their appitizer options of guacamole and nachos are fantastic. The seasonal outdoor dining area is in the rear of the restaurant.
Parking: In the rear of the restaurant there are two large parking lots. They are shared with other adjacent businesses.

Great for kids. Beyond tipping the server they also add a charge for tipping the kitchen, it’s automatically placed on the bill. It’s only a couple bucks, but definitely a nickel and dime tactic…
Also, I feel that most of the 5 star reviews are fake.

Cocina service charge? Allegedly to end wage imbalance? If Bodega Taco Bar wants to end wage imbalance just simply pay your Kitchen staff more. Bodega is the reason for the wage imbalance and then they want us to pay what they won’t pay themselves. Hippocrates!

Good food, awful bar service. Bar had 8 people, yet service had 25 min waits between orders. Not even a visual acknowledgment in between orders, we ended up asking the manager for a check so we could get out of there.
