After ordering breakfast totaling over $25, I encountered very rude service. Initially, the server appeared very unhappy with my order, which consisted of multiple food items. Then, in the middle of serving me, she abruptly asked me to move from the cashier area so she can serve to another client behind me in the line. Finally, when I politely reminded her that I had limited time to get to work, she engaged in a heated argument with me for a few minutes, displaying further rudeness. Given this unacceptable level of service, I do not plan to return to this establishment.

Very nice place, orderly, clean and the staff behaved professionally. I had a large hot latte just before 7am. Too much milk or too little coffee added. No bold coffee flavor nor that good caffeinated feel in my bones afterwards. I walked over and tried the coffee at Uncles deli a few doors down on the corner and sadly it wasn't any better.

I had a very good experience here. I came in for a latte and a parfait which were both very tasty. I read for a bit and then left. I forgot my backpack on accident. I called to see if they found it and to my surprise they had it. I was traveling that day and was 5 hours away by the time I realized I left it.Their assistant manager there was honest and generous. They were able to hold my backpack a couple of day untill I could return to pick it up. I'm grateful to the people who work here. I recommend this place-- good, honest people and the food's delicious.

OMG has this place become such a disappointment. They cater to phone/online orders while we stand in a line all the way out the door. I have watched while new orders come in and I must wait....the 2 ppl on Sunday, 3/3 could care less. The woman tells me she is the manager - and now charges .30 to sit and drink coffee there. My friend and I go every Sunday...we will not be coming back...

Despite being a multinational chain, the location in Darien has real personality, thanks to the people working there. The antique wooden wall structure at the counter traveled across the Atlantic. This is a safe place to land in. With its diverse clientele, it makes you feel not an alien. One of the few civilized places in this part of Darien: people from all walks of life are allowed to enter, not just the billionaires.
