Always take out from this spot. Has always had good food. Higly recommend to anyone coming in to town looking for some outstanding indian food. Be aware of the spic on some of the dishes though. Always make sure to get the plain naan bread with your meal. You can dip it with everything.

Excellent service, very nice ambience - but the food was just ok. There was little to no seasoning in the Vegetable Biryani and the Chicken Marsala. Very bland, even though I had asked for the Biryani to be extra spicy.

We had a nice dinner and pleasant service. I had the vegan eggplant dish which was delicious, although "medium hot" was very hot. The chicken tikka was decent. It was unusual to have plain white rice instead of basmati and then the "vegetable"samosas were all potato.

Coromandel - Darien continues to be the best Indian cuisine in my area of CT (Fairfield County), on a par with the best in London, England. The menu is large and varied geographically. The wine is comprehensive - a rarity in Indian restaurants! The food is outstanding, better than anything that I've had in the United States/North America. And the portions are generous enough to serve for leftovers on following days. I'm particularly fond of their Masala Dosa Appetizer, any of their Tandoori dishes, and their breads. Their service is outstanding - professional but not cloying. It is definitely a destination restaurant, well worth taking a major detour to enjoy!

I don't generally like Indian food, but this place turned me into a believer! It is insanely delicious every single time and one of our favorite take out places in the area. Dining in is also a great option (good atmosphere and service) and we have done that a couple of times as well. Highly recommend!

The food was wonderful. We had the poori, dosa and then two wonderful curries for dinner followed by the Gulab Jamun for dessert. The service was attentive and very friendly. The only issue is we were seated in the back next to a table that were literally yelling at each other across the table. My husband and I could not hear each other and ate fast to get out of there. We will go back but probably order out as the noise level was very unpleasant.

The butter paneer is my absolute favorite thing - and adding the chili naan adds a nice punch of spice!

My favorite Indian restaurant as someone who grew up with them. Been coming here for many years and it just keeps getting better. Great wines too! Prices are a bit 'Darien', but hey.

I have really enjoyed the lunch specials that they offer from Monday-Friday. We ordered a Malai kofta lunch box and goothi venkaya lunch box (eggplant cooked south Indian style). The lunch came with naan, rice and vegetable curry of the day along with the main dish. The vegetable curry of the day was a spinach dish and the food was delicious! It's really good food for a good deal so do try their lunch specials!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options!

Coromandel Darien serves the food of your dreams…fresh ingredients, outstanding flavor, with excellent service. I have been here a few times and every visit is flavor heaven. I cannot stop exclaiming about the dishes multiple times throughout the meal because it’s just THAT good. I’m Indian, and highly discerning when it comes to Indian restaurants. This may be the best Indian restaurant I have encountered. It’s a small space, 2 rooms and a table up front because they clearly do a bustling take out business. But it is always busy inside too, because if you know, you know. It is a bit pricey but you are paying for such high quality that it is absolutely worth it. Everything is made from scratch that same day. There is nothing like this restaurant and their delectable food. I will continue dreaming of it until next time.Vegetarian options: Exceptional veg dishes, I am not 100% veg but I would absolutely eat only veg dishes here.Parking: Super easy parking, shares with a large shopping center.

Food ready on time for pickup and tasted great. Little pricey for the entrees but food was good quality. Includes a pint of basmati rice. Veggie entrees could've been spicier and used some more seasoning. Will request that next time.
