We are from Massachusetts and we had spent the weekend in New York City celebrating our sons birthday. On our drive home we had passed Darien Diner looking for somewhere to eat after a long day walking the city. It was 8:35pm and the 6 of us were hungry. The diner closed at 9 but we took a shot. I’m not lying when I say God does everything just in time. What a gem of a place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Best nachos! The avocado was nice and fresh and green. I would give this little dinner a10 out of 10. If you’re even traveling through Connecticut stop by, I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Darien Diner for a perfect ending to a perfect weekend. ~ The Calvao Family
