Nice little spot right off 95 and Connecticut Avenue. I went with the Texas burger and It did not disappoint. Nice salt and pepper fries as well. Not the largest menu but more than enough. Also tried some of the Lumberjack breakfast and the home fries are straight fire.

Good shoestring fries! Easy to get to from highway. Menu limited compared to typical larger diners, but adequate. Service competent and business-like. Very clean restrooms.

Ordered the English breakfast and a bagel for delivery today. The food arrived after about forty minutes which was faster than I expected.

One of the best breakfasts I have had in a while. Absolutely delicious. Was here early on a Sunday morning. Very few customers, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious food.

Second time we have visited this establishment and WALKED OUT. Their service is slow and the one Male waiter has a huge inability to handle multiple tables. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting to order waiting to even be acknowledged. We were given a "wait a second". Very rude and unprofessional to not acknowledge or apologize to the people in your section. We enjoy the food but have come to deciding to visit on whether or not we might have to deal with poor service. That's not how to run a business. Either train your staff better or hire more people. I'm disheartened and disappointed with the Driftwood diner thank goodness there are other BETTER options close by. Zero stars if I was able to rate that

Customer service here is more than terrible! Food is good but service is disappointing. This is the second time we've walked out of here because of being ignored. They sat us quickly but we sat at our table for 20 minutes before we were acknowledged to "wait a second". We saw three tables who came in after us have their order taken and we were furious. It seems to be the same Male server who has trouble juggling his tables and priorities. We like this place but its dreadful when you have to worry about having poor service and our concerns came to fruition. Disappointing and disheartening. Thank goodness for the Darien Diner and their ABILITY to handle a busy floor.

We ordered an omelette and a BLT sandwich. The omelette was just ok and the side of potatoes were unseasoned. The BLT was lackluster at best. There was hardly any bacon or lettuce and the tomato was not ripe. The sandwich was extremely dry, I had to ask for mayonnaise because it did not come on the side or on the sandwich. The french fries were good. The prices were extremely high for basic diner food. They should charge diner prices not restaurant prices.
Excellent for a quick fresh breakfast. Had the huevos rancheros, they were amazing. The service was friendly and efficient.

It's a cute little place. I stopped in for breakfast. The have a great selection. I chose the chef burrito. It's huge! I ate half for breakfast and the other half for lunch.

Good food, super friendly service and nice atmosphere but it's very expensive. I got one very skinny piece of toast with my two eggs (a first in my life). I asked for a second piece of toast, they brought me two and charged me for it. Bringing the total of my simple breakfast to $15.50. Also, the potatoes were deep fried. $36 breakfast for two with tax and tip. Not a fan.

Awful experience. For a small dining space, the staff were completely overwhelmed for a Sunday morning. The host did not know how to manage anything it seemed, when I returned my food to him he asked "what's this". The wait time was about 45mins to get food. My meal was incredibly salty that I couldn't eat it. The table next to us received wrong orders and cold food. Incredibly disappointing and unsure how this diner has an overall 4.3 rating. Maybe we were very unlucky but I will not be returning. We did tip our waitress as she was very understanding to how bad the service and food was.
