Found myself in Darien for the first time! Neat was an incredible find. The barista at the register was so kind and had excellent customer service. I ordered their seasonal maple latte and it was perfect! It’s hard to find good quality espresso in CT with house made syrups so this was a gem. If you’re looking for specialty coffee Neat is the place! If you like diner coffee stay away 😂

The exterior has so much character. The open courtyard is adorable, makes you want to write an obscure novel while sitting here. The interior is also adorable, it’s clean charming, and big. I get a vanilla latte everywhere I go and this was one of my favorites, not sure what syrup they use but it’s not too sweet which is the best. People were here working, and chatting. They have the newspaper and WiFi. Love this place.

This place is so so great - I love finding a nice coffee shop with a lot of seating and their outdoor seating area is beautiful . They make a great espresso and have a very calming environment
