It has the best sourdough baguette in the NY Metropolitan area. The rye bread is just as outstanding. T

The baguette is very hard, nothing to compare with the real French baguette tradition
Fantastic bakery. We're lucky to have it in town. Service, food, and atmosphere make it the ideal neighborhood bakery.

Very disappointed today. Drove out the way on my lunch break to only find the location in Darien closed. On google maps it shows open and the website accepted my order even though its closed.
Extremely good bakery. The croissants are amazing. Can’t got wrong here.

Loved this place. Only went once but loved the vibe, food was awesome, and the courtyard to sit and eat / drink was really pleasant.

I had pre-ordered for a Saturday, had violent food poisoning, and didn't make it to get the order. They are closed Sunday and Monday, so Tuesday I went in and asked what happens to my $60 order. They said the froze it, and the proceeded to give me my order fresh. So, they are a rare breed that cares about their customers, this doesn't even take into account the brilliant quality of their confections. Don't walk, run to them!!!

Amazing place with amazing people that are happy to give bread, and are passionate about baking.
Parking: It's around the area, so some walking may be required.

Hands down the best baked good around. Rather pricy but worth every penny I promise. Think at this point I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu and can honestly say everything is not only good, but the best you’ll find.

My family absolutely loves this place and we look forward to each weekly visit. Best bakery in the area, no question. Rivals any we’ve visited in the USA. Breads are the specialty and are excellent - the sourdough loaf and English muffins are weekly staples for my family. However, the pizzas and desserts/pastries are also standouts. Some dessert/pastry favorites of ours are the banana bread, croissants and cookies. The pizzas are terrific and have replaced those from local restaurants and pizzerias for my family’s Pizza Friday. If you enjoy baked goods and sourdough, can’t recommend this place enough. Rob and his team are extremely nice, appreciative of customers and passionate about baking. The passion is evident from the attention to detail and quality of ingredients that comes through in all of their products.
