Had a million decaf beans available, but zero espresso beans. Went up to front to ask. Was told what they have out is what they have available. Woulda been nice to have them say when they’ll get more in or apologize for not having it in stock. Kinda just gave me a dirty look for even asking the question.

There is a gal who works at the Darien location who is absolutely stellar!!! I believe her name is Hannah or Megan - she has short hair and can run the place on her own all while maintaining consistency with the quality of the assorted drinks she creates. I truly look forward to seeing her there and appreciate all she has donee to represent Gregory’s!

My husband and I came in on a Monday morning around 8am for a cold brew and a latte. The coffee itself was good. 4 stars. But the wait was rough. 1 star. We ended up standing there for almost 30 minutes. There were two people behind the counter, but it seemed like they were focused almost exclusively on fulfilling mobile orders while 8+ of us waited in line with no movement.
I totally get that mobile orders are part of business, but the balance was way off. It would make a huge difference to have one barista handle mobile orders and one handle in person customers. It just felt like we were invisible.
We’ll come back because the coffee is great, but I really hope they rework the workflow. No one should be waiting half an hour for a simple drink at 8am.

I love their Iced Fall Out Boy Latte, I’ve gotten it more than once and it’s been great each time. It’s a lot better than most coffee spots in the area. They seem to have other good drinks on their menu as well as food items, which I look forward to trying. I also enjoyed the layout of the cafe, perfect for doing work or hanging out.
