The chili cheese fries are unexpectedly spicy, and also a good flavor.

A tradition! My friends and I cycle all over Stamford, New Canaan, Pound Ridge, Darien, and more …and about half the time they insist that we stop at “mother‘s” (as they call it) before we head to our respective homes. We always get rolls with egg, cheese, broccoli rabe, and bacon …and pancakes …and coffee and it’s definitely heaven.

Should’ve known when I walked in and saw how disorganized everything looked despite barely any people being in there, that my food was going to be horrible. Paid $27 for a ceaser salad with no dressing and old lettuce , with a side of the soggiest rawest fries I’ve ever eaten. Either they are very selective with who they give good food to, iykyk or everyone has been lying about this overpriced disgusting place.

Ordered and waited 15 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese on a TOASTED english muffin- watched other come in after me get their food. I confirmed with cashier of my order- waited more. Finally got my sandwich- just went to eat it. English muffin is raw- 🥴

We had a really disappointing experience at Mama Carmela's Deli. The sandwich we ordered was just not good—it felt like they completely skimped on the ingredients.
The panini looked more like falafel bread. For the price they charge, we expected something much better, but instead, it was overpriced and underwhelming. Honestly, it felt like a total scam. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.
