Atmosphere lively and loud! Almost too loud at the bar but thatś ok ... Food really good - the fresh pasta very nice. Bucatini Short Rib w/mushroom sauce - bangin!! Same with the Fettuccine Bolgnese - bangin!! Margarita pizza very good but the crust isn´t the authentic not a lotta bubbles on the edges more bready type of crust but still very good. The service if friendly and very attentive.

The food was excellent, but the service was extremely disappointing. While I understand delays when a bar is busy, the issue here was not the wait but the deliberate disregard. Despite making eye contact several times and signaling for service, the bartender ignored us, spent time at the computer, and then chose to serve guests who arrived well after we did. When this was raised, his response was dismissive, stating he would get to us “when he could.”
What made the experience worse was that when I addressed it with management, my concerns were not acknowledged and I felt dismissed. As someone who has been a regular at Molto and other related restaurants, this was not the level of service I expected. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere

I had an amazing experience with Molto in Darien! I called the restaurant because I wanted to order their carrot cake, which unfortunately wasn’t listed on the delivery apps. Francisco, the manager, went above and beyond to help me out—he made sure the cake was included, and even printed a personal note I asked to send along with it. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it really meant a lot.
The food itself was fantastic, and the carrot cake lived up to its reputation. Highly recommend Molto not just for their menu, but for the care they put into making every experience special.

Absolutely delicious food, great service (wrong dish brought to one of our party, but quickly fixed without question), and good atmosphere. Our table was in a quiet area, but could see how this may be a loud place in the middle of the restaurant. Will make sure to visit next time in the area!

If you are looking a precious gem of fine cusine, beautiful atmosphere, and a dining staff that is out of this world; then look no further. From the calamari, the burrata pizza, eggplant parmesan, pasta dishes, and desserts; everything was a hit!! The staff and their manager Franciso are absolutely amazing. So professional, kind, knowledgable, and personable. They were so accommodating for letting party decorate our table for a special event and adjusting dishes for certain dietary needs. They made out time there very memorable. It was a beautiful and pleasurable experience!!!
Food was average...nothing special. However, I do think they need a new manager if they want to start doing better in Darien. I 100% agree with the other 1star reviews.

We had a wonderful time dining here with our family. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Both the adults and the kids truly enjoyed everything. We’ll definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful experience we had while we were visiting this beautiful spot! The staff was wonderful, the service at the bar with Cris and Jose was outstanding. We got the burrata, margherita pizza, pesto gnocchi (not pictured), espresso martinis, and carrot cake! 5/5 starts — we love the ambiance, the food, and the staff. Can’t wait to come back!

Please note, overall we were not happy with the service and some of our meals.
Our waiter was extremely slow about coming to check in on our table, it was very much lagging. Sometimes 20 or more minutes at a time. Every time we ordered drinks or food we waited a very long time to even get the drinks. Water refills didn’t happen. As we waited for drinks, bread wasn’t even offered. We ordered three of the bistecca and they were pretty much cold and the Brussels sprouts were not cooked all the way, almost rock hard. We would have said something sooner but our waiter never came back timely to check on us.
The server offered us new Brussels sprouts to take home, but we didn’t want more Brussels sprouts at home.
Then the over $300 gratuity was added to the bill, which I would not have paid.
I was very disappointed as I’ve eaten there before and never had any issues. It was my daughter’s 21st bday and she was also disappointed.

It was a nice restaurant. Ordered some starters that were wonderful. Service was a bit slow. It was loud but you could still talk with people. Drinks were good; the smoke signal came smoking which was a nice effect. The entrees came soon after. I ordered the pesto gnocchi and it was delicious. Everyone in our party of three enjoyed it. There was also a bar people could sit at. Restrooms are here too.
