I’ve been dining at Molto’s first location in Fairfield for years since I was in college, so I was excited to try their second location in Darien Commons! The restaurant is absolutely stunning and has the same menu we know and love. You can’t go wrong with any of their homemade pasta dishes or pizza, and you could make a meal out of their appetizers, like Italian tapas style. The short rib was cooked perfectly in our risotto, and the bolognese sauce for my pasta was delicious....

We like this place but I will say the food is inconsistent. Appetizers have large portions, but some times seem dishes seem soggy or just not special Some days seem better than others. The service is always fast and friendly though which is a plus.

VERY disorganized and sloppy service. The proprietor of this new restaurant needs to get his act together. The food was okay (excellent fried mozzerella; the marinara sauce is just how I like it to be) but we need to try more before I’d commit to saying this place is worth the coin.
Parking: It’s part of a mixed use site that just opened. Parking is messy. And watch out for the dings to your fender.
