This place really delivers unpretentious red sauce items nicely and without fuss. Service is good. Pleasant dining room, efficient takeout service, easy access on the Post Road. For my money, the best pizza in about a 10-mile radius.

Been a loyal customer since the Califano’s ran Stamford Pizzeria. The food has always been fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, and you always feel like home when you’re there. I try to have something new every time I come but I tend to always go back to my favorites, chicken parm dinner, grilled chicken salad, chicken Italian with red peppers and broccoli rabbe.Parking can sometimes be a challenge but that’s because this place has found a new beloved home in Darien and everyone wants their food. Be patient or do pick up so that you get the best of both worlds.
The food was spot on with one exception... They don't know what a calzone is. Every time I've ordered one, I've gotten a stromboli instead. Not sure how they don't know what a calzone is, since their pizza is so good. ?

My chicken parmesan was great. My wife ordered meatballs with cavatelli, she found the meatballs tasteless. So I would go back for the chicken and advise against having meatballs.

Service was good. We got there just before the dinner rush and were seated right away. For 5:30 on a friday i was surprised. The bar was busy and an older crowd. I would have fit in. We ordered baked clams, cheese pizza and a veal parm wedge. The baked clams were good but not great. I thought they lacked the briny flavor of the clam juice. So not enough flavor for me. The veal parm wedge was very good. The cutlets were cooked perfectly. There was enough sauce and cheese. The only downside was the sauce was lacking something. It had no depth of flavor. My daughter thought the pizza was good but she likes blander food. My wife and I both thought the sauce was too bland. Maybe we need to add toppings to give it more flavor.

Solid option for NY-style. Perfectly crispy crust and fresh ingredients, but I'd probably recommend taking it to go. Service forgot about us a couple of times (admittedly it was a busy night), and seating can be a little cramped in certain parts of the restaurant.

My little family and I had a great experience coming to Nino's of Darien after leaving a funeral service. I'm thankful that John from Bosak Funeral Home for the recommendation. Everything from the fresh out of the oven bread to the entrees (Chicken and Eggplant Parmigiana, Chicken Piccata, Pasta alla vodka, 2 personal pizzas, Fries and Tiramisu) were cooked to perfection including my 4 year old's meal. Shout out to my waitress Jamie G. and her assistant for bringing out the food on a timely fashion and hospitality. I had to drive back home which was 2 hours away. Gracias por darnos una buena experiencia ❤️ Sinceramente, Mama soltera con 2 hijos.Kid-friendliness: My daughter's food was brought out first.
