Papa Joe's Ristorante Italiano is an excellent southern Italian restaurant that offers very good food, a nice wine list, and reasonable prices. The staff is kind and patient, making it a family-friendly establishment. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, with easy access from the sidewalk. This is a right down the middle, high-end purveyor of Italian classics. In a half a dozen tries they haven't missed yet. Large parties or small. Papa Joe's is a very authentic Italian restaurant in town. They have a great selection of wines and traditional Italian dishes like salads, baked eggplant, and pasta with chicken or beef. There is a bar area and a sit-down dining area for larger parties. The atmosphere is good; you can hear the other people at your table. The little lanterns on the tables are a nice touch. The fried calamari is the best ever, so fresh, and the aioli is excellent. The short rib ravioli are an absolute dream.
