Why don’t more people know about this place?! My wife and I went out to dinner with some friends last night and were told by our super attentive waitress that Seamore’s had recently shifted from mostly sustainable seafood to a broader “land and sea” menu.
The vibe was casual, but the food was definitely elevated. You could tell there was real technique behind it. Prices were very fair for Darien. Compared to some of the other Olive Garden–adjacent options in Darien Commons, Seamore’s felt like a little oasis. Total hidden gem.
We’ll be back, hungry for more.
Great food and great service by Katrina!
Great waitstaff and the specials are always exceptional. Although pricey, it’s generally comparable to other places in the area. I love the salmon crispy rice appetizer and I haven’t gone wrong with their martinis or oysters!
I recently visited this restaurant in hopes for some good poke bowl and had a disappointing experience. I ordered the sangria, expecting a refreshing and flavorful drink, but instead, it tasted like pure water with no real flavor at all. It was completely unbalanced, and I couldn't enjoy it at all.
To make matters worse, the food wasn't as good as I had expected, especially considering the high prices. The dishes lacked the quality and flavor I was hoping for, and I felt it didn't live up to the standard I anticipated.
On top of that, the service I received from the waitress was less than satisfactory. She seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of personality or warmth when interacting with the customers. Her attitude was cold and unwelcoming, making the entire dining experience feel uncomfortable. A positive, friendly demeanor is so important when serving guests, and unfortunately, that was missing during my visit.
Overall, I left feeling very disappointed by the quality of both the food and the drink, along with the poor service.
Easy place to grab lunch and dinner. Need to go in for brunch.
Exceptional food and attentive staff. Highly recommend the Old Fashioned, Twilight Margarita, black bass, cauliflower appetizer... basically everything on the menu! The food was so good we ate it all before we remembered to take pictures.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Will definitely come here again; service was fast and pleasant.
Good food, slow service. Granted one member of our party was being indecisive on what to order, but the server should not be waiting 15 minutes between checking up on our table. Our full party was seated at the table for 53 minutes before we got to place our main dish order. Prices felt unnecessarily high ($16 chips and guac), oysters had large distribution in size, portions were small. I actually quite liked the food, but don't think the overall experience was worth it. Will not be returning.

Seamore's restaurants focus on sustainable seafood. The one in Darien is relatively new and is very conveniently located right by the train station. The decor is stylish with a nautical theme that is very nice fitting for a seafood restaurant. They have outdoor seating and a nice bar area.
James was our server, and he was great at explaining the menu and answered all of our questions regarding the food. I ordered the miso salmon entrée and my friend got the reel deal with salmon. The salmon was very nicely seasoned and cooked perfectly. The vegetables were cooked al dente so they were firm and full of flavor. I only wish they would have given a bigger piece of avocado since the slice was tiny. Prices are on the pricy side but not outrageous.

I decided to check out Seamore's as it seems to be a newer restaurant in the area that some friends recommended to us (I'm a bit of a foodie and love seafood), and it did not disappoint. No long wait for a table even being as busy as it was, and such a lovely place/vibe. Our server James was amazing, attentive, and fun to talk to. We started with some coconut shrimp which was phenomenal and I ordered the black bass which was perfectly cooked and hit the spot. My friend not being the biggest seafood lover got the steak frites (not pictured along with the best cucumber martini we both had), and she said it was amazing as well. Nice to see there were still great options for everyone. Overall, an awesome experience from beginning to end and a place we will DEFINITELY be back to! So good!!
Parking: Easy to find spots, no issues - even on a Friday evening.

This was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had in years. The restaurant was barely half full and yet it took over an hour for our food to arrive - at a seafood restaurant no less, where preparation should be faster. During this long wait, the staff did not check in at all to see how we were doing or offer any updates or apologies, but they were sure to ask if we wanted any more drinks (at $18 a pop!!) once the food finally arrived.
Once it did arrive, I was unfortunately even more disappointed. My meal consisted of frozen corn and frozen mangoes mixed with inconsistently chopped jalapenos, with some lukewarm, chewy shrimp. My wife's meal was equally mediocre.
When all was said and done, our price for the evening was over $200 - and while I expected the meal to be expensive, I also expected to feel that I got what I paid for. That could not be further from reality.
Save your money and your time, go just about anywhere else.
