When the restaurant is practically empty, your mussels come out crunchy, and the fries are completely cold, that's the end of the line for me. Shrimp pad thai was so oily that if you stepped into the bowl, you could swim in it.
The atmosphere has changed, the menu has changed, and unfortunately, the food is no longer what it was when the restaurant first opened several years ago.
No more Seamore's Darien for us. It's a shame.

We went here for the advertised Mussels Monday. We arrived at 6pm and after being seated when ordering we were told they were Out of Mussels.. no apology for the Inconvenience and nothing else on the menu was a special.
Had previously eat here and had great spinach and artichoke dip here (this time it was very supbar - don’t know if they had a new chef)
The service was slow and also there was a lot of time spent without a server anywhere in sight (15+ minute for check only to have server hover over check to get tip)
Also server moved an umbrella for another table causing our table to directly exposed and didn't ask our permission
Overpriced for food especially with service and food and wouldn’t go back. Also if you advertise Mussel Monday…but mussels

Server was on his third shift and was super friendly but a ways away from being a pro. No issues as we are an easy going couple aware of the state of the world.
Shrimp cocktail was very good but could have used a bigger piece of lemon and more cocktail sauce. A seafood restaurant should not skimp on lemon.
My wife enjoyed the poke bowl but overall didn’t scream we are coming back again soon. Which brings me to the fish and chips. Shoestring fries were great but don’t tell me pickled veggies are coming and put 4 cucumber slices on the plate. The three small pieces of cod were lightly battered and acceptable but suited more for the fish tacos and not a true fish and chips, again a tiny piece of lemon. Last as a seafood restaurant on a Friday night not to have a catch of the day is laughable.
Good luck Seamore’s

Always enjoy lunch and dinner here. The lobster roll is my favorite. Food is always fresh and the environment is great!

Ate there two Sunday's ago. The restraunt was only about 25% full The waitress was more interested in flirting with the manager and the bartender than waiting on us. It took over 15 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge we were there. Drinks were slow . After botching my wife's dinner order, they finally got it to the table as everyone else was finishing. Asked for the check. Lots of flirty conversation with the waitress and the manager while waiting 20 minutes for the check. They charge premium prices for mediocre food and brutal service. Won't be back anytime soon.

Why don’t more people know about this place?! My wife and I went out to dinner with some friends last night and were told by our super attentive waitress that Seamore’s had recently shifted from mostly sustainable seafood to a broader “land and sea” menu.
The vibe was casual, but the food was definitely elevated. You could tell there was real technique behind it. Prices were very fair for Darien. Compared to some of the other Olive Garden–adjacent options in Darien Commons, Seamore’s felt like a little oasis. Total hidden gem.
We’ll be back, hungry for more.

Great food and great service by Katrina!
Great waitstaff and the specials are always exceptional. Although pricey, it’s generally comparable to other places in the area. I love the salmon crispy rice appetizer and I haven’t gone wrong with their martinis or oysters!
I recently visited this restaurant in hopes for some good poke bowl and had a disappointing experience. I ordered the sangria, expecting a refreshing and flavorful drink, but instead, it tasted like pure water with no real flavor at all. It was completely unbalanced, and I couldn't enjoy it at all.
To make matters worse, the food wasn't as good as I had expected, especially considering the high prices. The dishes lacked the quality and flavor I was hoping for, and I felt it didn't live up to the standard I anticipated.
On top of that, the service I received from the waitress was less than satisfactory. She seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of personality or warmth when interacting with the customers. Her attitude was cold and unwelcoming, making the entire dining experience feel uncomfortable. A positive, friendly demeanor is so important when serving guests, and unfortunately, that was missing during my visit.
Overall, I left feeling very disappointed by the quality of both the food and the drink, along with the poor service.

Easy place to grab lunch and dinner. Need to go in for brunch.
Exceptional food and attentive staff. Highly recommend the Old Fashioned, Twilight Margarita, black bass, cauliflower appetizer... basically everything on the menu! The food was so good we ate it all before we remembered to take pictures.
Friendly, accommodating staff. Will definitely come here again; service was fast and pleasant.
Good food, slow service. Granted one member of our party was being indecisive on what to order, but the server should not be waiting 15 minutes between checking up on our table. Our full party was seated at the table for 53 minutes before we got to place our main dish order. Prices felt unnecessarily high ($16 chips and guac), oysters had large distribution in size, portions were small. I actually quite liked the food, but don't think the overall experience was worth it. Will not be returning.
