I was doing Uber food delivery. I went in to pick up an order. There were two girls working and I guess one guy in the back one of the young ladies who manages the register was very rude. She got all upset and bent out of shape because a client wanted, a charge taken off for a switch of meat since they were out of chicken, which caused her to treat her badly will not be going back here

First time coming here for a salad. I got the spinach based salad and while it was tasty.. I found a green stink bug alive in my food. Thank god I didn’t chop or mix it otherwise it would have blended in the food and I would have eaten it. I was soooo grossed out and they made me a new salad, but at that point I wasn’t very hungry anymore. I tried eating the new one, but was super apprehensive and turned off. Won’t be coming again. Shows that the food isn’t properly inspected or washed I guess. Ick

I came on a Saturday night to pick up my takeout order that I placed directly on the website. Not only was there half the portion I would regularly get in the bowl, but there was a curled up hair (was definitely not my own) in the side of dressing I opened. I was disgusted and had to throw the dressing out. I had already left, since this was a takeout order and I assumed it would've been made the same way as usual but the hair I saw in the dressing and portion size is what makes my rating a 1. It is a shame because the food at sweetgreen is great but I am questioning the staff as there should be no hair in the dressing and the portion size shouldn't be barely anything when normally you get a full bowl.

Went in to order two salads had some questions so was asking the server who gave ride one work answers that I could not hear. They were out of ingredients so had to change my order twice. When I finally got home with salads and started eating the kale/lettuce was so dirty that the sand rubbed against my teeth with every bite! It was disgusting - both my husband and I threw our $15 salads away. Will never go to Sweetgreen Darien again.

I have never had an issue with Sweetgreen in nyc. I ordered here once and I was delivered someone else's order of the same name. The order numbers cleat didn't match. I reorder because I couldn't eat what was delivered. The new order had 1/3 of the ingredients I asked for and paying full price for an incomplete dish is poor customer experience. I would choose another location that's convenient.

Wild rice was uncooked and my husband cut his mouth. Missing ingredients, skimpy portions of vinaigrette. Less than a tablespoon of hummus in the hummus crunch bowl. Reached out to customer experience and did not get a response. Will not be ordering from this location again.

I used to love going to SG in the City, but this one in Darien is poor run that my orders are like Russian Roulette. About half the times our orders were prepared Incorrectly like the last time we ordered Miso Salmon with warm sweet potatoes - the fish was there but missing sweet potatoes on both our orders even though we paid for it. That's was not too bad an instance, we also experienced where the fish was MIA. And, trying to contact them via the app is waste of time - it's like talking to a wall - not even a robot! We just gave up -- why keep paying those exorbitant prices where the staffs are not trained properly.

I had a bad experience. I ordered an item online and when I got there they told me they were out of salmon. No one offered any alternatives. I asked for a new item and the worker was actually visibly annoyed. When I told them the item I paid for was more expensive than the new order they told me they can’t do anything about it and to email corporate. Needless to say no one has responded to my email. I won’t be back here
I've recently hopped on the salad bandwagon during my health journey, and sweet greens have stolen my heart. Despite initial skepticism fueled by social media hype, their salads are a revelation. My favorite is the crispy rice bowl - the crispy rice adds fantastic texture, complementing the flavorful chicken. The spicy cashew dressing is the icing on the salad cake. The ingredients are visibly fresh in the massive fridge, but the staff, while not extraordinary, doesn't overshadow the salad magic. Whenever I'm in the vicinity, it's a must-stop for me.

Originally, I was not expecting much from this place when I was looking at what they had available from outside, but after I got my food I fell in love with this place. the music was warm and welcoming both from the outside and the inside and the employees there were very nice and polite to me ever since I first walked through the doors. and the food was out of this world as well. overall a great little experience to enjoy and lots of different foods to try. I ordered in person and sat down to eat and it was so good that I ended up taking another bowl with me back home!
