Excellent spot easily accessible in downtown Darien from I-95. I love seafood and the meal here did not disappoint. We started with the crab cocktail and half a dozen oysters with everything being fresh and delicious. The cocktail came with a mustard sauce (in addition to cocktail sauce) that was quite tasty. I ordered a Branzino special which had an excellent thick flaky piece of fish cooked to perfection. The service was so efficient, i never had to worry about my water glass not being filled as the waitress was constantly checking on us. The ambiance is chic but somewhat laid back. Good place for people watching. All in all, an excellent New England Seafood restaurant. I'll definitely be back.

Very fun place! Food is great, interior is more upscale than you would except from the outside. House-made nachos are fantastic. A genuinely good wedge salad. Service is very attentive. Beverage service both competent and interesting. Definitely making it a regular.

My first time here. I took my father here for lunch. Had a reservation for outside, it was a little chilly so we switched to inside which wasn't a problem and were seated right away. Overall the vibe/look of the restaurant is very nice. The food was OK. I had the mussels and several did not open and they tasted sandy. One mussel had a barnacle. We also had the Caesar with shrimp which was good. Overall food was unremarkable but atmosphere and service were great.

Had dinner here recently with a party of eight. Ordered a very tasteless martini. The food was fine but in no way memorable. The service was scattered, confused with pairing meals with the appropriate person and forgetful (maybe a symptom of understaffed). Cannot understand why they would pick such uncomfortable dining chairs? They did a good job dimming lights but warning the acoustics are not great indoors. We all managed to have a great time but it could have been SO much better.

Came for lunch with a friend. Beautiful interior with stunning black and white tile floors. I love brunch so had a bacon cheddar omelet with salad and a Chardonnay. My friend got a cold asparagus soup to start and a salmon burger with a salad. Everything tasted really good. Our waiter was OK, not very attentive. I had to ask for the bread basket which usually comes to the table with the drinks. The only real negative about the place of despite the lackluster service is it is very noisy inside... wow. But I would still go back. I had a good time.

From the food to the staff, everything about 1020 is absolutely amazing! Chef Oscar was on fire tonight. My Salmon tasted incredible. Can't wait to go back 10 out of 10

Ordered food to-go, the salmon BLT on pumpernickel is excellent. Perfectly cooked and fresh salmon. My only feedback would be to please include a wedge of fresh lemon as with any seafood.The house burger was decent for the price. Would have loved options of other toppings etc, it’s just an average quality pub burger.
