Came here for a birthday party it was my first time here. This restaurant is on the small side but it's cute and it is within a banquet hall. So there are other private rooms within this building. When you walk in the lobby area has a piano, and some comfortable seating area chairs. There is also a small bar area that looked nice. For starters I had the wedge salad. The bacon that came with it was 2 strips f it so it was not pieces of bacon like other wedge salads come with. The garlic bread we got for the table was delicious. I shared a steak that came with broccoli and potatoes. The broccoli was steamed and good. Potatoes were good too. The Steak I did not really enjoy much. But everyone else who had the steak at the table really liked it. We had some table comedy too. The waiters were nice and all the other staff too. This is a big seafood and steak place. If I come here again I would try another type of steak and maybe the meatballs as a starter.

This restaurant is hands down the best you can find around. It is authentic Italian delicious fresh tasting tantalizing amazingly good food from start to finish! The service is TOP TIER. Our server entertained my 2 young kids 7 and 4 he made them laugh so much they still practice his jokes with the hand movements and we visited 2 weeks ago since I’m writing this review! From we were greeted by the manager to being seated everything was excellent!! I can’t wait to go back! We had the lamb, sea bass and chicken parm, meatballs, dessert! All were excellent!
Our server Douglas, was the classic old school attentive waiter. Service was excellent!! We weren't rushed. We “dined”. Food was excellent and perfect prepared. Well done Giovanni's!

Water's Edge never disappoints in providing excellent friendly service and wonderful food. My husband loves the prime rib and again raved about it. My son had a fantastic porterhouse and me a New York Strip. We will return for sure and bring family and visiting friends in the future.

I live in Maryland but booked this restaurant for my mom's birthday dinner with my three sisters. They advised me they had an amazing time because the service was impeccable, and the staff, especially their server Douglas , provided professional and friendly service that left my mom beaming!Now, the food. My mouth watered looking at the menu, but to hear how delicious the food was, I will plan a trip to Connecticut just to partake in the culinary delights offered at Giovannis.I want to extend a personal thanks to Douglas for being amazing at what he does and to everyone who took time to ensure mom's celebratory dinner went well!

Once again our family had a wonderful experience dining here for our annual Christmas celebration. Sal (the owner) and his culinary team continue to produce exceptional steaks, Gorgonzola salads are great, calamari was cooked perfectly, and delicious desserts are always on point. Douglas our server is the best around! Very attentive and provides great hospitality throughout our dinner. He remembers our family 7 in total with 3 kids as we have been coming here for over 12 years. Chris the manager tonight brought an outstanding level of humor and professionalism to our dining experience and he was absolutely brilliant in connecting with our kids and made us all laugh continuously. Sal and his entire team including the valet service are top notch people and they truly make you feel special and appreciated and you will receive an amazing quality of service and exceptional food at reasonable prices. Can't wait to return!!

Great food, quiet and cozy atmosphere, and the service is excellent. Konnie (with a "K") makes amazing drinks and has a very energetic and family-like personality. My only suggestion, is I wish they would have a piano at the bar (it's THAT kind of place); it's nice that the owner is usually always walking around making sure everything is as it should be, and will talk to the customers (just as Giavanni always did). The prices for certain items are a little higher, but the food quality, freshness, and taste definitely justifies.
