Been coming here for almost two years and it’s consistently declined in quality and service. Getting charged for things I didn’t order, not even getting the whole order, and charging for two of an order and not including the sides that come with either of the items. When you call to ask about a refund or to get the items you wanted they say “oh it’ll be on us next time we’ll give you a credit” and ends the conversation before taking your name or any info about the situation, instead of rightfully refunding you for not providing the products you purchased. Just go to post corner or heights if you want a sandwich

Living a town over from Uncles Deli I have always been a fan of this place. It's great for a quick bite, and I have recommend this deli to many people not from around here. I will say the service is a little overwhelming when they get really busy, but just stand your ground and know what you want! You can also call ahead - I usually do to avoid the lunch crowd! One of my favorites is the Californian which is a wrap. If you're looking for something on the lighter side it's really good! Overall it's just your classic deli!

Great experience. Ordered a Greek chicken wrap and it was stuffed with ingredients and it was very easy and clean to eat. My wrap tasted fresh and the service was great! Will be returning soon.

These reviews are wrong! I randomly passed this place on a business trip, thought it would be just a quick lunch but ended up having the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever had. I went back in to thank the guy who made it, a younger guy & learned he was the owner. Super nice/friendly. If I'm ever in Darien for work again, I'll be back. Honestly the chicken parm special was so good I might make a trip from NJ just to get it again.
Ordered with explicit directions for both items to come with utensils and mustard on side. Neither had mustard. No utensils. Called to ask they said to call Uber. Uber clearly was not the one making the food. Have now tried this place 3 times and 3/3 times order has been incorrect and food mediocre at best. Instructions are simple to follow. Would not recommend.

I walked into the front by the cash register to pay and pick up my phone order. The blonde cashier yelled at me to get in line after she angrily asked me what I just said. A very nice woman said I I was in line. Still the cashier was extremely rude. Can't see why I would ever go here again while that cashier works at uncles. I'll be at Vavalas deli where they appreciate customers!

Started a new job nearby recently, and have been coming here 2x a week for the past few weeks, trying different sandwiches. So far the Reuben has been the best of the bunch, and the blackened chicken was really good. Today I got the steak and cheese... and it was horrible. The steak was burnt and almost inedible, with very little onion or cheese on it.For almost $12 per sandwich this place is easy overpriced for what it is as well. I can get the equivalent sandwich for $8-9 near my home. If they were huge sandwiches I would get it, but they're really pretty small for the price.TL;DR: Overpriced sandwich shop with mostly good food that is sometimes not cooked properly.
