This our new go to spot when in Darien. The primary reason is the reasonable prices. The food and atmosphere is upscale and you’d expect menu items to be upwards of $20 but they have so many <$20 breakfast and lunch items, which keeps us coming back as opposed to a once in a while thing.
We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is a bit on the small side but it is very quaint. They have a bar area where one may dine at as well. The service was excellent. We had a young lady who was very attentive and helpful. The food was very good. For starters we had the chili which was very good. It had little bite to it. Four or lunch I had the bacon cheeseburger served with a side salad. It was cooked at a perfect medium rare and it was delicious my girlfriend...
Had a great experience here. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the service, food, and price point were all excellent—what a gem! The atmosphere was perfect for a get-together with friends or family. I had the chicken pot pie and my husband had the BLT; both were very good. Already planning my next visit!
