They have succeeded increating an astonishing, awe inspiring,spectacular loaf of bread.The James Beard Awards, World BreadAwards, and Food and Wine best breads inevery state committees, need to take noticeand realize the best kept secret inConnecticut. I certainly hope that Albert'sbakery will enter their breads in thesecompetitions. They have all of theattributes and necessary characteristics ofa true winner.Each magnificent loaf is chock-full of amouthwatering combination of melt inyour mouth deliciousness. It is anincredible, unbelievable experience.

Not quite the best sourdough (I'd rate Boudin's in San Francisco and some others around Bakersfield and San Luis Obispo in Calif a little better) but everyone has their own taste -- but very good for this area.

Great Breads: had them at Whistle Stop in DeepRiver. They we nice enough to sell us a Cranberry Walnut Bread, we wish it were available in Clinton. Other breads good too.
