Stopped in to treat myself to breakfast. I was surprised to see the variety of smoothies they offered and grabbed one of those too. The breakfast sandwich I got was piping hot, melty cheese and the perfect amount of bacon. I will definitely be back

*Primarily take-out. No gluten-free options available.*When breakfast and music collide.We stopped in for breakfast this morning for the first time. The breakfast sandwiches were great. Simple breakfast options, made to order egg sandwich wraps, bagels or hard rolls. Side note - Coffee was conventional serve yourself, quality was mediocre.We had the Southwestern Egg Sandwich on a garlic herb wrap and an Old Fashioned Egg Sandwich on a hard roll. The winner was definitely the Southwestern with lots of fresh ingredients and flavor, the Old fashioned was standard and predictable.Everything was standard food wise, from the sandwich combinations and ingredients. Except there was one thing, literally in the background, that started to jump out and clobber both of us.The music, which was terrible.Track after track of alternative heavy metal, all slightly too loud. It was as if they’d just selected something to make a statement of angst and left it to run through the whole horrifying lot. The problem was the fit. The music didn’t match the food or the restaurant. There was a definite mismatch between the way the restaurant projected itself and the way it did so over the sound system.Service appeared short staffed making the process on the slow side. To be clear, the server was smiling, friendly and helpful and not his fault he was doing it all alone....which might explain the music choice.2 smileys ? ?

Wow ! This place is fantastic, my Son and I had breakfast it was out of this world ! This is my new favorite spot to eat in Deep River and our town needed this. If you haven't tried Emjays all I can say you will not be disappointed !

Nice new breakfast spot with lots of smoothie options, sandwiches, and some awesome looking pastries. I got the Southwestern breakfast sandwich and it was great! My wife asked for a BLT wrap which was not specifically on the menu, and they made it for her anyway. While waiting, they let us sample some new potential smoothie flavors and seemed really nice. Didn't get to try any of the breakfast pastries, but planning to in the near future. Overall, would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
