On the way to the lake we grabbed a cold Sub and decided on the deluxe Italian combo. It was pretty good looking forward to trying another menu item soon.

We came 30 min before they closed and the food was delicious and fresh! The staff was extremely friendly and let me know how to save a little money next time I order. Definitely will be coming back to try what else they have to offer!

Idk what’s up with this place. I really tried to give it a fair try as friends of mine get pizza there and steak grinders I’ve been there five times and four times the pizza wasn’t good and I had a steak and cheese grinder that was so soggy and gross I brought it back and they refunded my money. Prices are very high as well on everything. Foxon park soda I’ve drank since I was a kid when it came in glass bottles and it’s always been an inexpensive great soda, but it’s priced very high, but to be fair Davinci’s Pizza gouges the price of their foxon park soda as well so I guess I cannot claim that Apizza Grande Deep River or Davinci’s is overcharging or if it’s Foxon Park. I don’t like leaving reviews like this but people want consistency with their food and fair prices and if no one tells them these things they can’t fix the problems. So the fourth time the Pizza was excellent. No problems with the atmosphere or service

The Fried Calamari, Greek & regular salad plus a sausage, mushroom and onion pizza off the chart’s delicious! My partner is a NY pizza snob and I grew up on Wooster Street pizza, etc. By far Grand Apizza in Deep River has the best and most delicious food. Plus they’re consistent in flavor, texture along with all the goodies.

was really craving a meatball grinder and had high hopes as I had a delicious one from Pizzarama in New London, but sadly this one was the heaviest stuffed grinder i've ever seen lol. the second i picked it up it fell apart before i made it to my mouth and the bread was so squishy almost like how bread gets when soaked in water. The cheese was not melted and was too thick & chewy, BUT i did ask for extra cheese. The meatballs had little flavor and honestly there was way too much sauce, but I will know from now on to ask for light sauce or sauce on the side from future places. Another person I was with ordered a turkey grinder and recieved some breaded chicken thing lol, I'm not sure honestly, but it wasn't turkey. I haven't tried anything else yet, so this is just for the meatball grinder I tried. The delivery driver was a really nice guy and I tipped him good so that was no issue!

Best Pizza around, drive from Moodus to get it. No comparison when it comes to flavor and consistency in quality!
