Overall good experience.Appetizer was crispy duck wings which were delicious and perfectly cooked. For the mains I got the poke and my girlfriend, the veggie burger w/ truffle w/ fries. The poke included fresh tuna and the rice was cooked perfectly, however in my opinion the sauce was too tomatoey flavored and overpowered the rest of the dish. The veggie burger tasted good but would benefit from the patty being a little crispier.Had the warm chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream for desert which was lovely.Overall good experience and would go back. Means of comments above is suggestions to enhance what the restaurant has to offer.

It's got a welcoming proprietor and terrific decor -- a fantastic tribute to the music I grew up with -- but terrible service for a supposed local hangout and disappointing food. Our waitress took far too long to acknowledge our presence, then rushed us to put in a drink order before we'd had a chance to look at the menu. Then she studiously ignored us, though the restaurant was emptying out, and by the time she got back, the drinks were long gone. (And water, which no-one bothered to refill.) She didn't ask if we wanted another round, though I actually hadn't ordered one yet and only then found out that they had a wine list, and acted annoyed that we didn't get appetizers. But by then it was just too late -- we were tired and hungry and ready to go. When the meal finally arrived we already had a bad taste in our mouths, though a couple of dishes were actually quite good (the BBQ pulled pork and the shaved brussel sprout caesar salad). But it's no pleasure going out for a meal with friends in a cute spot and having an experience like that.

Delicious food, superb quality, and reasonable prices. Normally these things don’t go together, but somehow, Red House has found a way to deliver all three. Here’s how I would describe it: If there were ever such a thing as a speakeasy but in a food-sense, this would be it. The cover, from the outside, is what you would think is a normal, everyday, local restaurant. Maybe a place to grab a burger and a beer (which you absolutely could, and should do). But when you go inside and give it a try, you’ll quickly realize, this is far more than a burger joint. The dishes coming out of the kitchen are so good, and of such high quality, it actually might take you by surprise. The Brick-Pressed Chicken might be one of the best chicken dishes you will find in the region. Their specials rival those from any of the restaurants along the shoreline. The ingredients they are using, from the locally sourced bread and pasta, to the fresh vegetables, and meats, really come together under the talent of the culinary staff in the kitchen. I guess the proper term would be, a hidden gem. Great job Red House!

5 stars to the duck wings, it brings 4 wings and they are delicious. For main course I ordered short rib fettuccine, it was ok, pasta was a bit dry, flavor was good. Service was on point, very friendly!
Delightful stop after thrifting today! Got the a Red House Burger and it was out of this world. Prices a bit high, but the meat was high-quality. Great spot and give the antique shop next door a browse. Very cool stuff!
