My friends and I had lunch at the Rusty Rail today and it was great! The food, rustic setting, and value-all perfect! Our waitress was wonderful! I recommend that you visit this hidden gem!

We came here after the North Pole Express and we had a great time! We were a larger party of 9, the bar was right under us but was not loud at all. We sat comfortably in the upstairs loft that had festive decorations, our toddlers and the adults loved it. The restaurant is very clean, the food was great and fast. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They even had a gift box for the kids to pick out a small gift which my son loved and we appreciated. They also offer a s’mores and hot chocolate bar outside for the kids which we really wanted to do but unfortunately it was just too cold outside. Would love to come back next year and definitely recommend to others looking for a bite to eat in a cozy place :)

Excellent restaurant! My boyfriend and I came here because we saw Lisa's bad review, then the fun response from the owner, so we decided to swing by after a hike with our dog to check out the vibes. Pet friendly! Seated promptly outside, waitress lit a fire just for us, gave us blankets, and the chef even made bacon specifically to give to our dog. Very attentive and friendly waitstaff. Great food! Would 100% come back in the future :).

Doesn't look like much on the outside, but go in. Food was great. Salads fresh. Even food presentation was great. Waitress was helpfull, attentive and friendly. Loved it.
I came here on Sunday to eat at around 4:55 and I was turned away due to the kitchen allegedly being closed even though the establishment itself does not close until 6:00 p.m.. I've never seen such extreme unprofessionalism and I will not be returning.
Update: please explain why you'd be open until 6pm but stop serving food and drinks before it even turns 5.

You gotta be kidding me. Went to see a band Friday night. Walked up to the host stand and the large man just looked at us. I said we were meeting someone here and they had a table for us. The man replied “everyone’s meeting someone here“. Ummmm, ok. So he made it very unclear what we were supposed to do and what he was supposed to do. So we stood there for a minute and it was very busy so I just started walking to meet our friends. He started to have a conversation with my husband. And screamed at him to “get back here”. My husband did not respond to that well and The large man started arguing with my husband, as I was walking to meet our friends. He didn’t like what my husband said, and told him never to come back again. This all happened within three minutes of laying eyes on this guy. What was supposed to be a fun night out with our friends very quickly turned into my husband banned from the rusty rail forever! Lol good riddance! Really lacking in customer service skills. And I am in the business. This was totally inappropriate and unprofessional.

If your into dive bars, fun relaxed atmosphere with a woodsy vibe and awesome lunch food this is a great stop. Hang outside with your dog, eat, drink, socialize and listen to local bands dry cool place!
