Doesn't look like much on the outside, but go in. Food was great. Salads fresh. Even food presentation was great. Waitress was helpfull, attentive and friendly. Loved it.

I came here on Sunday to eat at around 4:55 and I was turned away due to the kitchen allegedly being closed even though the establishment itself does not close until 6:00 p.m.. I've never seen such extreme unprofessionalism and I will not be returning.
Update: please explain why you'd be open until 6pm but stop serving food and drinks before it even turns 5.

You gotta be kidding me. Went to see a band Friday night. Walked up to the host stand and the large man just looked at us. I said we were meeting someone here and they had a table for us. The man replied “everyone’s meeting someone here“. Ummmm, ok. So he made it very unclear what we were supposed to do and what he was supposed to do. So we stood there for a minute and it was very busy so I just started walking to meet our friends. He started to have a conversation with my husband. And screamed at him to “get back here”. My husband did not respond to that well and The large man started arguing with my husband, as I was walking to meet our friends. He didn’t like what my husband said, and told him never to come back again. This all happened within three minutes of laying eyes on this guy. What was supposed to be a fun night out with our friends very quickly turned into my husband banned from the rusty rail forever! Lol good riddance! Really lacking in customer service skills. And I am in the business. This was totally inappropriate and unprofessional.

If your into dive bars, fun relaxed atmosphere with a woodsy vibe and awesome lunch food this is a great stop. Hang outside with your dog, eat, drink, socialize and listen to local bands dry cool place!

Was somewhat busy, but service was efficient. Had the Trenitalia Frecciarossa, wifey had the Long Horn Chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Came with fries. Had a couple of beers and wifey had a glsss a wine. The prices are a little high for menu items, but this place doesn't serve up just your typical bar food. Sitting outside was nice, inside was equally nice. Got to see the Essex steam train roll by a couple of times....now I know why it's called the Rusty Rail.
