I cannot say enough good things about the vendor. From the food to the presentation, everything was beyond perfect. Ron & his team are absolutely amazing. My guests loved the food so much & are still talking about it 3 months later. We have been told countless times it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Ron was available for all questions and concerns we had, especially during this uncertain time. His team was professional and courteous the entire event. We are looking for any excuse to have a party just so we can hire them again! If you want an out of this world meal for your wedding or event, do not hesitate to book Clambakes of Connecticut. My initial contact with Clambakes of CT was great, but after booking things went downhill. I was told I would be contacted a week before our event to confirm details (an at-home wedding of 20 people) and that never happened so I had to reach out. The actual food and service was extremely disappointing. Food was bland (grilled steak, salmon, and vegetables), one of the staff was not vaccinated, they disposed of grease by dumping it on our driveway/lawn, very poor timing in terms of getting the food cooked and ready to go. I had to add an extra hour with our photographer because the appetizers and dinner were so delayed. Huge discrepancy with receiving various invoices. Edit: I was contacted multiple times by the owner to take down my review.

We had a truly wonderful experience with clambakes & BBQ of Ct. The food was delicious and served beautifully. I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again in the future!

I just got clam bakes to go for my birthday!It was great the owner gave us the instruction on how to cook everything. They included everything from plates, crackers napkins to salad, rolls, the entire clam bake in a can. And watermelon and cookies. I would totally recommend to anyone

This spot is excellent and broad, the meals was delightful and the prices were very economical. rapidly, productive service and very personal staff. I recommend this place.

New owner and business location. Location is perfect for my 50+ guests for a 50th wedding anniversary. We were allowed to decorate which was a big plus.

We used Clambakes of CT to cater our wedding. From the moment we contacted them with our proposal for our wedding we knew we had the right company. The Cohn family was very professional. They helped us plan the event, and provided full setup the day of our wedding. The food was phenomenal! We continue to receive compliments on our wedding meal weeks after the event. I highly recommend Clambakes of Connecticut for your wedding or large party, especially if you are doing most of the planning yourself.
