I don't know what happened to this store in particular, it used to be really good and the crew was on top of their game all the time! Now the service is trash, multiple times now I have had something wrong with my order, this time however, they didn't even start my order because they lost the receipt, according to the person behind the counter.I've worked the business for many years, it's not that hard to make a sandwich and make it right, that is unless you hate your job and are just a body collecting a paycheck for little to no effort, don't work that job, it's pointless if all you're giving is trash service and trash food.Move on so someone better can hopefully come in and do the job the way it should be done. Go find your niche cause working at Jersey Mike's is not it!For everyone else, you can literally go to any other Jersey Mike's in CT and they'll probably run circles around the Derby location. Don't go here.

Done going there, tried 3 times and every single time the bread is COVERED in oil/vinegar. I’ve been to other sandwich places that don’t have this issue so I don’t know what this places issue is.

I always pick up from here and never had an issue. I know the manager Steve or Steven he calls me "SMILEY" I'm regular uber driver there and everyone is so nice.So I had double order pickup from there and didn't think it be be busy. There was only 2 customers.They had 1 order ready. Then all of sudden. It got busy. Guy in charge told other guy seal other bag and give it to her aka to me. Other guy was busy with other customers which I understand. But I noticed ETA time to be delivered was getting longer and later. I kept contacting customers sorry for the wait.Now it's been more than 10 min waiting. I'm scarred if later than ETA some customers deduct the tip. I even went to bathroom , come back out still waiting. So they decided to take care of all customers in line before me. When uber orders come or ce before customers came in to the store. I got there 835 now it's 8 57pm they close 9pmCustomers wanted their food 845 and other and 853 both in Ansonia area. Now it's 857 pm past customers ETA. MAYBE ITS MY FAULTI should speak up and tell guy how to do his job and tell him to seal the bag. So sorry manager Steve. I dnt like customers I'm delivering to wait. Some customers take it out on thr drivers when it's not our fault.

My wife and I love the subs at Jersey's Mikes. They are delicious, hot or cold. Service at this location is great. We were there again today for take out. There app and rewards program are awesome.

Send my uncle here yesterday to get sandwiches. He got the sandwiches the sandwiches were normal. There was something a little off about the soda but didn’t think nothing of it but maybe they just then put the equal parts of the liquid to make it taste like Pepsi etc …. Instead when my ice melted I opened my cup and had the whole soda spout in my drink I can not wait to speak to a manager . Do you see how digusting that spout is and my child and I drank that !!!

Every time I order my food over the phone they get the order wrong. I had to come back in today because I got my order wrong. No one acknowledges me when I walk through the door I was staying in there for eight minutes I had to get in line to get a sandwich that I called them to fix that should’ve already been done when I got here. All my sandwiches were wrong by the time they finally fixed them the girl hands me multiple sandwiches without a bag. Also, there’s a 50-50 chance when you do order from here your food is not going to be cut in half.

My girlfriend I order Jersey Mikes very often always 2 regular sized cold subs and yea it’s over priced for sandwiches but I’m writing this review because one of the workers a guy probably in his late 20’s tattoos longer unkept dark brown or blackish hair, is very unhygienic, seen him touch subs and the register and cash with out changing his gloves not once , and there were many subs being made before mine and he touched his face with the same gloves too , I was grossed out , I come here often so I always pray he isn’t working while I’m there , but I’m too uncomfortable to say something to him or the staff especially when he is touching his nose or face with the same gloves and it’s every time he is there he is gross , I’m not trying to be mean but he looks sloppy and dirty too, iv also seen him not do his job too which i would say I’d rather him have nothing to do with making or touching my food but when he is not actually doing his job he is being a creep to the underage co worker girls jeez man he is like almost 30 or already in his 30’s but he needs a shower , proper food safety education, and a sexual harassment prevention program. Like I said earlier he is white longer dark hair, a sad excuse for barley facial hair, tattoos he has a night mare before Christmas tattoo for sure, and in his late 20’s to early 30’s. And about 5’11 or so. Just saying watch out if you’re worried about cross contamination and maybe a bed bug jumping from him to your sandwich

The service ? , the food DELICIOUS, if you call ahead it’s done when they say it’s done. I can’t say enough good things about Jersey Mikes they are great. Our go to food.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free bread they let u choose everything for ur sandwich so u won’t have anything u won’t want. The staff will answer your questions to the best of their knowledge.Parking: It’s in a plaza so the after work rush time sucks. You just have to drive the speed limit. Watch for people pulling out of spaces, cuz people drive like maniacs these days.Wheelchair accessibility: There are double doors a wheel chair can definitely fit thru and always someone there to help with the doors

Completely DISGUSTING!!I went into this shop this evening about 8:30 pm. I asked for a roast beef and cheese and as I watched this young man making my sandwich I noticed he was slicing left over end cuts. I watched as he labored over taking this extremely small piece of meat and tried to slice it needless to say it was pure fat and he was able to get 3 small slices out of this old and disgusting end piece. He reached in the case and pulled out another very small end piece and started slicing that up too. Again he was able to get 2-3 slices of complete fat and burnt fibers and placed that on the bread and walked away I guess to get another end piece of meat I stopped him and at this point questioned why he would be slicing up a piece of meat that was men’t to be discarded!!!I told him the sandwich looked like s%#T (were my exact words) and completely gross and as I walked out I saw the female working there take a look at the sandwich and did NOTHING to try and rectify the situation with me. I was so disgusted I simply just walked out.This was a completely HORRIFIC experience and I am a person who loves to go to Jersey Mikes often. I think I’ll just go back to Subway. At least their consistent and they don’t try and make sandwiches with meats that were men’t to be discarded!!And by the way, I know it was close to the end of the night but that’s no excuse for the place to be filthy as well.Gross and Disgusting performance Jersey Mikes!!
