It's nice to see there are good ratings on here. But unfortunately thats not it for me. The place is dirty, filthy. The food was not so good. My tea supposed to be hot tea, it's cold. Come on Panera Bread in Derby. Do better!

We have always loved panera. We recently went after a hospital visit, and had probably the best experience ever (and we have been going for like 15 years). We went to the Derby, CT location and we had a server named Marcus. He was incredible. He was so sweet to our 4 year old, he helped work our order to get the best deal and was just generally kind and attentive. We then over heard him helping the guys in the back with pick up orders and he was very knowledgeable and seemed extremely eager to make sure everyone got the correct order. Our food was great and we enjoyed ourselves. We will be back.

love panera , usually always go to and order from this one no issues however my last order , of soup and salad was seemingly thrown together and not fresh at all. I love panera for their fresh food fresh taste but the salad wasn’t even appealing off the rip. avocado was begged and looked just thrown in there, the lettuce was browning already for sobering to be fresh that shocked me. the new potato soup is so good i double ordered when i first tried it, most recent order nothing but cheese globs. so disappointed

We came here to gather as a group of old friends. We were so grateful that Gloria assisted in serving us with exceptional care and efficiency.
We had squash soup, tuna salad, mac n cheese and delicious coffee.
We enjoyed our time together in this comfortable setting.

Incompetent drive-through worker, plus the Bread was hard and cold. I won't return

The customer service here is disappointing. The employees seem bothered when taking orders, and the kitchen staff moves incredibly slowly—yet orders still come out wrong. This place has really declined in quality. A complete overhaul of the team might be necessary. Very disappointing.

Walked into the cashier arguing with a customer, being short and aggressive with a basic issue. Had an issue with my order but decided it wasn't even worth trying to talk to the front with my problem.

Not worth the time nor money.

I love Panera. But recently, Ive started noticing their salad quantities have shrunk, and the service was poor today as well as the server simply said “I cant do anything” after our requests.

I ordered the New French Dip, they shouldn't even be able to call it that, because there is hardly any meat on the sandwich! and the 2 sandwiches were supposed to have chips which were not in the bag. What a waste of $30+ dollars!

I used to eat here. But lately, the quality of the food has suffered tremendously. I won't go to Panera ever again.
