I read a review that said not to let the biker bar vibe turn you off as the food is great. So I had to check it out. So from the outside and inside it's a biker bar. Though on the night we were there-not a single motorcycle in the parking lot. As to four out of five-if I could the real number for me is 3.5. So the bad news. The wings and fried pickles were both way overcooked. The pickles ended up being the crunchiest pickles I've ever eaten. Interesting. The good news is everything was so flavorful. The fried pickles had a unique cumin dipping sauce. Seems everyone else has or uses some standard pickle dipping sauce. Not these guys and this sauce was great. We ordered garlic Parmesan wings so full of those flavors that the blue cheese dipping sauce masked this goodness. Finally we had the NY style calamari. This was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. A great marinara and the right amount of heat. Even my wife who is not the biggest calamari fan loved these. So many places ruin calamari it's a real gamble to order. A gamble that paid off in flavor. So the appearance is rough, they have no iced tea and there were problems with the cook on some items but you should check them out for the flavor.
Seems like they need to update their hours. Waited all day to come for 2 oclock on a monday showed up at 3 was still closed. Prob wont be back after that. . Very disappointed. . .
