Okay, not great. Beer wasn’t really that good, all the beers either tasted sour or bitter, even the stouts which are usually a smooth type of beer. It’s also a bit of a townie vibe. Not dog friendly. Upside was the staff was very nice and they have a nice set up for the space

This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I tried Rule of 3's beer during numerous beer festivals, but this was my first visit to the brewery.
The brewery has a lot of parking space. It occupies a Hangar-style building at a marketplace. No food is served except snacks, but there are food trucks on site. The brewery is themed after sports bars.
The beer selection is awesome, there are many styles on tap - IPAs, stouts, an Irish red ale, pale ale and so on. You can order a beer flight of 4. Fkr this review I tried all beers available on tap. All of them were really nice. There wasn't a single beer I didn't like. My favorites were their collabs with Concentric Brewing - Darth Malt (Imperial stout) and Wookie Cookie (Imperial stout) - for their rich taste.
I do recommend this brewery for any craft beer enthusiast. It's also worth a trip to visit it

This place is great! Nice patio, spacious inside with a big bar, TVs, games. They often have live music and food trucks and other special events. Wendy and Scott and everyone who works there are always so friendly. Personally, I love their Pilsner. Definitely recommend!

We recently planned a group outing to Rule of 3 and it was great. With 11 adults and 2 toddlers in the group, the layout and space was exactly what we needed (and though we did not use them - there were clean high chairs available). The staff was super helpful in setting aside a spot and we enjoyed the drinks. Would absolutely go back!

Solid beer spot good for a large group or just by yourself. Bigger than you'd assume, lots of floor space to spread out.
Beers were well-varied and on point; worth trying as a flight.
Bonus points: Bathrooms are super modern and clean.

The best brewery! A great rotation of beers, the workers/owners are very personable, and such a nice area inside and out! The patio is a wonderful place to hang out when the weather is nice. They also have food trucks, snacks and menus of places that deliver!

Very open and spacious taproom with ample seating both inside and out on the patio! Super cool hangout spot for a football Sunday! They also had many alternative options to beer so everyone in my group could enjoy drinks!
Stopped by for the first time today and immediately knew I was going to like this place. Great beer, lots of events happening, board games, giant connect 4 and darts in the back and a nice outdoor patio. Can't wait to go back!

Great place! We visited on a rainy day while we were staying on the lake. Wendy was very friendly, and we all really enjoyed our flight selections. I would highly recommend stopping in!

The actual brewery itself was fine, board games, giant connect 4, a nice patio area. The beers we sampled were nice enough. We went out for the dueling pianos show here (which I thought was awful ) , no food truck and some overpriced chips and salsa on offer, the flight was solid. After spending 50 dollars on solidly mediocre entertainment (where the performers were asking for more tips to even play a song request) , and another 30 on a single flight and a bag of chips, I couldn’t help but feel a little robbed at the end of the night.
5 stars for the brewery, 2 for the the entertainment quality.

Stopped here for a quick drink. Live music was great (man welcomed everyone coming in & could sing pretty good). We just shared a flight, but the ones we had were pretty good! Nice set up inside with darts, deck of cards on the tables, large connection game and other table games. Cool spot and will definitely stop again when we're in that area! P.s. women's bathroom top notch ?!
