Absolutely one of the best breweries I’ve been to on my travels across CT. I’ve now visited 15-20 different breweries across the state and this is one of the most pleasant I’ve been to. Spent more time enjoying the bar than I expected, talking with one of the owners/brewers John and his wife Wendy. So much knowledge on the beers and so very friendly and engaging. I will 100% be coming by for a beer anytime I’m in the area. I can’t wait to see where their beer experimentation...
Okay, not great. Beer wasn’t really that good, all the beers either tasted sour or bitter, even the stouts which are usually a smooth type of beer. It’s also a bit of a townie vibe. Not dog friendly. Upside was the staff was very nice and they have a nice set up for the space
This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I tried Rule of 3's beer during numerous beer festivals, but this was my first visit to the brewery.
The brewery has a lot of parking space. It occupies a Hangar-style building at a marketplace. No food is served except snacks, but there are food trucks on site. The brewery is themed after sports bars.
