We stopped here for a late breakfast on the way home from a vacation in the Berkshires. We had a great breakfast and our server was very good. We both had egg breakfasts, but I also had pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were very good and had a little bit of crisp to them which I enjoyed. The maple syrup was provided in a little bottle which we thought was a nice touch. Then we took advantage of their $6 take home meals if you have bought an entree, so we got their Meatloaf Dinner and their Grilled Chicken Dinner to bring home for our dinner. This was a pretty good deal making their regular eat-in menu even better.

Our party of four went for breakfast. The gift store is excellent, and we all bought things and had a good time. When we finally got in to the restaurant, the waitress was very friendly and efficient. The menu selections are plentiful. Great southern-style breakfasts, The problem is that the food is only average. Grits were garden-variety, nothing special. Eggs looked unappealing. Meat was not really seasoned. Gravy and biscuits were good, but nothing exceptional. Overall, a fun place, especially for the kids, and for getting southern food. But definitely not worth a trip for the gourmet. While not overly expensive, certainly not a bargain.

We came for supper this Saturday night. The restaurant was not too crowded and we were seated quickly. The portions are huge especially the new entree, cheesecake stuffed pancakes with seasonal fruit. Two large stuffed pancakes, 2 eggs and bacon!!! My husband had chicken fried steak, fried apples, and hashbrown casserole. We took home the leftovers!

Hadn't been to a CB in a few years....used to like them a LOT. Had a meal at this one and it was very poor quality meat & veggies...and everything was cold. Our server was very nice and tried hard but it was a bad experience. Maybe due to their hurting for wait staff. But I won't be back to any of them.

I have been going to Cracker Barrel for many many years. I introduce my daughter to Cracker Barrel I take my friends to Cracker Barrel and most of all I take my five-year-old grandson there and taking him there for years. I was having a particularly bad week my grandson called me and say Mommy come pick me up I miss you. I felt so good this was going to be a wonderful ending to a horrible week. I pick my grandson up in New Britain I asked him where did he want to eat, he said Cracker Barrel. I said but that is so far. He said but I want the confetti pancakes and sausages. He loves the sausages and the pancakes. I love the atmosphere and the wonderful staff that I'm usually met with. I'll wait for 30 minutes 45 minutes whatever just because I love you I'll be on. I love to browse the store while I wait for my meal I know my mail is always going to be wonderful I always make sure my waitresses get the $10 tip because they're all usually so whatever. I took my grandson took him all the way to Cracker Barrel he picked out a toy that you was going to buy later on we were seated. That's when it All Began. I got a waitress who succeeded we were rude and it's ferocious grab the menu out of my hand who slammed my slow down on the table who try to rush my grandson as he was trying to place his order who never spoke to me once not once the only reason I knew that she had come to my table initially was because I felt her presence she didn't say good evening she didn't say hi you didn't say what can I do for you it was all very strange. I've always had a wonderful experiences with the waitresses are there that's why I've always gone back. In the end I told someone I don't want her to serve me anymore and that's when she spoke. flippantly said oh okay,. all of a sudden she's more animated she's talking to the person on the left side of me she's talking to the person on the right side of me she's talking to the person in front of me and she's now extremely animated extra loud and she's laughing real loud. Obviously for some reason that night she had a problem that she felt she was going to take it out on my table probably because she felt she can get away with because she certainly did not seem to care when her manager bought my sweet potato out to me. I don't know why she treated me the way she did out of everybody that she was serving she was just real mean and like a bully. And she just didn't care. And in my experience that speaks to someone who's accustomed to misbehaving and gets away with it. I left there that evening having paid for tea that I didn't drink and a potato casserole that I did not eat and on hindsight the supervisor shouldnt have charged me and I shouldn't have paid for it. The experience was so unexpected weird and putting that I was worried she may have spit in my food And it bothers me to this day that I can no longer go back to a restaurant that I loved going to because of this nasty nasty waitress. And to that waitress I'd like to say I I'm a 40% disabled veteran I know a nurse who works on the front line oh, I am exhausted all the time I am I'm still going through some of the issues that caused my disability. When I get to spend time with my grandson.who I don't see for long periods of time now, I try to enjoy it. You ruined that for me. but I'd like to say I don't hate you God bless you. and whatever Spirit of meanness that got into you to make you direct that at me, I forgive you, and God bless you and I hope you have a wonderful wonderful rest of the year. Forgive my diction but this has been bothering me for weeks it's Saturday morning usually I am up dressed headed towards Cracker Barrel but today I can't go and it breaks my heart that one evening with a nasty mean person has taken that small pleasure of my life away from me

We came to Cracker Barrel because we had limited other breakfast options and were in a hurry. The menu is fairly predictable but not a huge variety. This place in particular though did have an attentive and quick wait staff, which we appreciated. Just wish the offerings were a bit more varied.

First we called the Maine Fish Market and asked wait time. We were told not busy.. Told them we would be there in 10 minutes. Lady on phone said that they didn’t take reservations, but there shouldn’t be a wait. When we got there, the place was packed. People waiting crushed in a small area. Definitely not covid safe. Told that time wait was at least 40 minutes. With no place to safely wait, we left and went to Cracker Barrel. No wait, seated quickly, our server brought our food promptly. It was hot and tasty. Fish fry was excellent and half the price of Maine Fish. This Cracker Barrel is a winner.

This was first time going to Cracker Barrel, I was not sure what to expect. When I walked in, it looked like a general store, with old candy, toys, vinyl and clothes. Then we were shown to our table. Our server Colin was amazing, he mentioned they were very short staffed and he had been there since 7am (it was 6pm when sat down). More tables started to fill up around us. He and the other servers held it together. He was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. I didn’t see a manager on the floor. These guys need a raise. The food was good, was exactly what i wanted. Colin recommended the Cracker Barrel sampler after i mentioned it was my first time. My wife had the catfish, which reminded her of home in SC. I fell in love with the meatloaf (also my first time). As an Irishman in this country, if you want to taste southern food but can’t make it south of the Mason Dixie line, give Cracker Barrel a try. It’s worth the trip and at very good prices you can’t go wrong.

My wife and I usually like this place. We tried the curbside pickup to go for the first time today. We ordered our usuals. Selected time for curbside pickup. We arrived 5 minutes early, and notified them that we were there as per the instructions in the email. The response indicated our order would be right out. After waiting nearly 15 minutes I called. Was told that they had our order and if we were parked in the curbside pickup area (we were) it would be right out. Waited another 15 minutes before I personally went inside. I did not want to go inside because this was a busy Saturday afternoon, and I wanted to avoid being inside with crowds (which is why we ordered curbside in the first place) but I felt I had no choice. after the two cashiers figured out who was in charge of "to go" orders, one of the cashiers retrieved my order from a rack behind their station. After being bid "Have a nice day!" (it wasn't) I took our package to the car and we drove home (less than 15 minutes away). Not surprisingly the food was cold, and it was missing part of our order. I guess we'll just continue our curbside pickups at other restaurants who seem to be doing it right.

We frequently go to the East Windsor, CT location. We've always had impeccable service. This past time, total bummer... We waited over 45 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, we ordered our drinks and meals. Our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up, and the to go orders had higher priorities. We understood. The problem was, we waited for over an hour for our food. We saw the other patrons who were seated after us were served, ate, and gone. We made our displeasure known to the manager on duty. They cut our tab in half. The problem was resolved, however, I have read other reviews of patrons who've had similar experiences at the same location. I'd definitely step up my game if I were this Cracker Barrel location.

My review is really just within the chain, or at least genre of chains, and my experience and expectations for those. This store has friendly cashiers and store staff; most of their host staff are excellent as well. Years ago, waitstaff were not as good for a while, but that seems to have disappeared. Everyone was in harmony. All food and drink arrived as ordered. Stations and visible parts of restaurant were all clean. Despite Covid restrictions, still kept some of the cheerfulness. Server was really polite and efficient

After being seated and waiting for 5 minutes, no one recognized me in the section. I struck up a conversation with a rising star; Michael who was setting tables in this section. He asks me if anyone had been over to say hi. When I told him no, he immediately took my order for meatloaf and served the meal hot and in a timely manner. Upon inspection of a dirty fork, he apologized and made it right. He recommended apple pie for desert. What a quality guy.....

My mother knows how much I love the Cracker Barrel so she gives me a gift card every year. I love the home cooked taste to their breakfast. I may be small but I love to order the bigger breakfast selections. I love the cooked to order steak, the fried apples, and their cheesy potatoes casserole. It's a very cozy place and reminds me of days gone by. They also have a beautiful gift shop as you walk in. So if you are tired of the same old places with walls of tv's and loud crowds stop on by the Cracker Barrel. It's also great for lunch and dinner. We bring guests from out of town when they fly in, it's just a short ride to and from the airport.

went with a coworker for lunch on a Friday. The lady that seated us was a breath of fresh air. The food was good. When paying, asked for a duplicate receipt.....took an act of God to process and it still was not what I wanted. But after 5 minutes, I took what I got and left..
