This place wasn’t open when I went to give it a second chance. (Must have been a sign) I saw in other reviews, you say you took a vacation (a day ago) that’s fine; people need vacations. However, you’re still currently offering too good to go orders yesterday, today and currently (for tomorrow). If you’re closed how can people receive their orders? So, hypothetically people are paying you for food, they’re showing up to a closed restaurant. That’s is an example of unethical behaviors. I am disappointed you would even insinuate a customer is unethical but to just say it in the way you did and to tell a woman to come talk “face to face” is threatening, no matter how nice you say you are. You can say you’re polite all day, but a polite business owner wouldn’t have responded to a bad review in the manner that you did. You can see in my photos how awful this business responded to a review, that honestly was very polite from the customer. Are you upset someone actually asked for what they were promised for once? You calling a customer unethical means you think they were stealing in some way, shape or form. You’re a restaurant and too good to go is prepaid. Outrageous. This is just stuff I’ve just noticed in the reviews responses from this establishment it’s self. On top of the fact that I have given this place 2 different chances, they were closed and then the first time I used too good too go, it is suppose to be food that’s left over from the day so it doesn’t get wasted, it is supposed to be worth way more then what the customer is paying bc it’s prevent waste. It’s supposed to be a mystery bag of items AND a meal worth $39 for $12.99. (See pictures below) But I got 1 plate make quickly and haphazardly. Definitely not $39 worth of food or items, definitely only 1 plate of food. Super disappointed. Also you as an establishment signed up for too good to go and it says you will give $39 worth of items AND a meal for $12.99. That’s the price and deal you set it to. What’s unethical is to expect a customer who just bought food from you to just accept being not given what they were promised and then also not feel welcomed to sit and eat their food that wasn’t the offer they ordered, that you made, in your seating area for your customers. If you don’t want someone sitting and eating food from your establishment, don’t offer seating. I wonder if too good to go would like to see how you’re responding to customers? Are you in the mindset that too good to go customers paid less so they don’t get to sit or get good service? It seems like you don’t understand the concept of too good to go. I came here to leave a review from my experiences that were negative but I’m extra disappointed in how you responded to customers who were giving reviews; they’re taking the time to give you feedback and it wasn’t rude either. This is wild. Too good too go is to prevent waste and to give a customer a great experience so they want to come back. Not to feel like they got swindled by a restaurant then to be called names and threaten on top of it.
Picture one: response to a woman customer, calls her unethical and then tells her to come back in person, which is threatening.
Picture two: too good to go app showing what they offer just incase they change the deal bc they already changed it from two different sizes to just the one (see picture 4)
Picture 3: highlights of picture two
Picture 4: when they had 2 options $9.99 for $30 worth of food AND a meal -or- $12.99 for $39 worth of food AND a meal.

Place isn't even open
Delicious food, welcoming decor, and the best part- the generous hospitality! This was my first visit and first time trying Brazilian cuisine. The host (aka owner) treated me like a VIP, not only providing me generous portions and samples of the sweet desserts, and much to my delight, a caipirinha, Brazil’s refreshing national beverage! The pictures already posted by others reflect the happy vibe and tasty food. I will be back on every trip to Hartford. Thank you Favela Aroma for a lovely experience!

I walked in to pickup a to good to go order having never had Brazilian food before. I was greeted by I assume the owner and he was very kind and helped me complete my pickup through the app. The servings were huge and was a full meal for the 3 people in my family. Delicious near Bacon wrapped chicken rice beets and shredded greens. I am so pleased with my purchase it was absolutely worth it! The owner also took time to tell me about the food and the difference between Brazilian cuisine and other Latin dishes. All around a great experience.

The family and I stopped here to grab food on the way home back to Delaware. The owner was in the restaurant alone, handling everyone expertly and kindly at once, in their language of choice. He gently explained how everything worked to us as out-of-towners and even gave us three desserts on the house for coming so far and patronizing his restaurant. So already he gets 5 stars from me for being a kind and gentle soul. The food being immaculate was just the cherry on top. I’m grateful to have gotten to meet him and to eat his food.

Placed an order with the Too Good To Go App. I selected the supreme surprise bag which was $12.99 and you're supposed to receive $39.00 worth of food. I arrived and said hi without a response back...the man swiped the app and then proceeded to package fresh food as in like a regular meal..it's supposed to be day old leftovers and that's why you're supposed to get $39.00 worth. The value of the meal I received was around the actual price I paid. This place seems to be scamming people on the app in order to drum up business. I received a chicken thigh a few pieces of mystery meat a load of diced tomatoes, diced beets and an entire container of rice along with some lettuce on top. To top it off the rice wasn't even good. Total scam. Won't be back. Check out the pictures.

Restaurantji Recommends
This was a too good to go order value on $30 according to the business . You get rice , beans , potatoes a piece of chicken , some other kind of green carb . This is value more in &12 to $15 is more rice than anything else . This is not a $30 value . Owner grabs your food click on order and say you can go . This was horrible service and not the value that “Too good to go “ offers . The owner is fushoujying a meal $3 -$4 and saying one meal is with $30 . This is not a fancy restaurant to charge this value is small whole in the wall kind of business . I’m all about to support small business but don’t lie to customers . I don’t recommend this place .

Great little Brazilian place in East Hartford. Owner was very nice to bring over a complimentary plate of rotisserie meats because that’s what they are known for.

We came Saturday late afternoon, service was quick and pleasant. It was buffet style and the restaurant charges by plate weight. We had a satisfying meal for about $20 each, would come again if we’re in the area!
Parking: There was lots of open street parking in front of the restaurant and not many people out
